Would definitely stay here again!

Was attending an event at the Elms Hotel so decided to make a weekend of it as had never been to Retford. The Lawns was the closest accommodation to my event but was also convenient for the town centre and the train station.

A Very Pleasant Place to Stay in Retford!

Having left the Retford area in 1970 I needed a place to stay overnight in readiness for a family reunion. Scouring the websites I found The Lawns Guest House, which was unknown to me, but it sounded very suitable for my needs. I booked at midnight the day before I travelled and was impressed by the smoothness of everything from start to finish: a friendly greeting, an upgrade to a bigger room, the offer to carry my suitcase, a clean and comfortable bedroom, the spotless kitchen. Try it!
