Dirty room
Unfortunately we were not at all happy with the room. There were mud and other stains along the bed frame, the blinds were so dirty that there were finger marks in the dust, the toilet seat had hairs on it, the tv remote was filthy and the room smelled strongly of smoke - and very sweet air freshener in an attempt to mask the smoke smell, which made us feel nauseous.
There weren't enough beds for the number of people we had booked to stay and the chair at the dining table was broken. After a 4 hour drive, this was very disheartening.
The owner was away, but the person looking after it was very friendly and apologetic that the room was not made up for 3 people when we arrived, he did offer to rectify it for us. It's not his fault that we couldn't bare to stay there.
We left soon after we arrived and found an alternative.
The location seemed good though, nice and quiet. Not too far from the hospital where were visiting a critically ill family member.
