Beautifully appointed stylish duplex apartment. Located in the old quarter of Frigiliana, which has been awarded as one of the loveliest places to stay in Spain.

The apartment is split over 2 floors. The first floor boasts a modern lounge, dining area, fully equipped kitchen and modern shower room with wash hand basin and WC. The Balcony has lovely views over the botanical gardens and out across to the Andalusian countryside with stunning sunsets.

The lower ground floor has 2 bedrooms one with twin beds and the master which has a king size. Each room has plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. There is a covered terrace off of the main bedroom with seating and views again of the botanical gardens and out to the countryside. Both balconies benefit from morning shade and afternoon, evening sun. The sun sets opposite the apartment, which is lovely to relax with a glass of something chilled.

The apartment is fully air conditioned, which also provides heat during the cooler months, along with electric heaters if required. Free high speed Wifi is available along with a Smart TV where all manner of channels can be accessed including European. There is also an Alexa to enjoy music of your choice.

A communal pool is available and within easy reach of the apartment, very clean and well maintained.

Frigiliana boasts numerous bars, shops, restaurants all within walking distance. The old church can be found up in the square and the old sugar cane factory still produces its own honey. You can also purchase sweet Frigiliana wine locally.

The Plaza is also a great place to hang out where you can relax in one of the many restaurants/bars and watch the world go by.

The nearest beach is in Nerja, with the town being significantly larger than Frigiliana. This has many bars, shops, restaurants and places of interest to visit. It is easy to access by car which is approximately 6 km away and within a 10 minute drive. The local bus service is also available at a cost of approx €1 per person, along with a taxi rank should you prefer.

Well appointed, clean and comfy apartment located in the center of Frigliana yet quiet and private. This 2 bed 2 bath apartment worked great for our family holiday. We could walk out for breakfast and dinner each eve and pop down to a variety of beaches during the day. Close to Aldi and Lidl as well as the local shops. Host was communicative, helpful and friendly.

Lovely apartment and views

The apartment has lovely views and is located in the heart of Frigiliana Old Town. There is very easy access from the main road up a gently sloping path with no steps at all. From the apartment there is just a short walk up a few steps to access Calle Real, the cobbled street which runs through the Old Town, where you will find lots of nice little shops and places to eat and enjoy a drink. The apartment is very secure and we had everything we needed. A lovely find.

One week on Paradise

This apt is amazing . It is very well equipped with everything plus more for a perfect stay, It is very spacious , and the upper patio deck is very private with a wonderful view. We so enjoyed hiking in the area and taking the bus into Nerja for day trips. Frigliana had to be one of our favorite white villages.

Comfortabel en zeer goed ingericht huis

Een heerlijk appartement aan de rand van Frigiliana. Voelt als thuis, comfortabele stoelen, bedden, badkamers. Goede wifi op beide verdiepingen en een prachtig zwembad. Alleen moet je daar wel even heenlopen, wat het iets minder toegankelijk maakt.Wij vonden het dorp verschrikkelijk toeristisch maar ‘s avonds was het rustig en hing er een prettig Spaans sfeertje. We hebben een prachtige wandeling gemaakt langs een lang vlak aquaduct omhoog en terug via de rivier die was mooi. En de strandjes voorbij Nerja zijn super. Goede fietsenverhuur in Nerja gevonden (Cycle Nerja) met zeer betrouwbare Engelse eigenaren. Nog een tip: ga ontbijten bij het grote wegrestaurant bij de afslag en rotonde van de snelweg bij Nerja. Op en top Spaans, gezellig, lekker en goedkoop!Tot slot: Wij waren in het appartement van Karen tijdens de grote stroomstoring in Spanje en Portugal en konden de buiten BBQ gebruiken om te koken en er waren veel kaarsen om toch zonder te struikelen onze tanden te kunnen poetsen. Karen was heel erg betrokken, een aanrader dit huis als je graag in Frigiliana wilt verblijven!

Perfect stay in Frigiliana

Perfect stay from start to finish! The apartment was beautiful and supplied with everything we needed. Fantastic outdoor spaces to soak in the amazing views. It is so perfectly located above the gardens, away from any noise and steps from the historic center. It was the perfect "home base" for exploring the region and such a lovely, comforting place to return to each day. Highly recommend!

Beyond beautiful

We have just spent 5 fanastic days at this apartment and could not be more pleased. Prior to the trip the host responded quickly and provided clear and accurate information. Check-in was easy and the apartment exceeded what is pictured and described. The host has thought of everything. Even though it is in town, it's quiet and peaceful. The central location makes it easy to access all restaurants and shops. Beautiful bakery and coffee shop within a two minute walk. Sunset and mountain view from the upper veranda and comfortable outdoor seating. The beds are very comfortable, ample linens and kitchen has all you might need. This was not our first or last time in Frigiliana and we will make every attempt to come back to this apartment.

Great location and fantastic views

The view from the apartment is stunning and it is very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It is right in the centre of the village. The access to the near by pool is fab especially after a day out and about. Karen was great at getting back to you and answering any questions you might have. We really enjoyed out 8 days in Frigiliana, especially sitting out on the balcony just looking at the view.

Beautiful area

Amazing apartment, central location in the most beautiful town. We loved our stay here. Brilliant communication with host. Parking on the street. Coffee shops, restaurants and bakery just a few steps away. Kids loved it. Amazing comfortable beds with black out blinds which were a game changer. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A nice stay

A nice apartment in Frigiliana. Location is perfectly central. Good opportunities for spontaneous hiking. Very quiet around Christmas time. Apartment was clean and very well equipped. Shops in town or neighboring town (Nerja) are easily accessible with or without car. Pleasant contact with owner Karen. We'd love to come again.

Great Apartment in a lovely town

We very much enjoyed our stay in this extremely well equipped apartment. There is everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The a/c was very welcome in the hot weather and of course the lovely swimming pool, which is a few minutes walk away, is an absolute boon - it was very rarely crowded and indeed we had it to ourselves on several occasions. Karen was very easy to contact and responded promptly to any queries. The apartment is very conveniently located for the many bars and restaurants in the this beautiful town, and the view is lovely at all times of the day from the balcony. Many beaches are also easy to reach. We had a lovely holiday and would have stayed another week if we could!

Fabulous apartment with everything

We had a great stay of five nights in this apartment. Karen was great at providing all the information we needed prior to arriving. The apartment overlooks the botanic gardens and is very spacious. just a few steps away is the main footpath through the village, so getting to the main sites and around the village is easy. Well there are a lot of steps, but worth the effort. Nearby there are good quality restaurants within the old town. We loved the nearby Casino restaurant and the Garden Restaurant further up the village. The local bread shop is very near and there is a little general food store just down the road. We would recommend the local guided tour, at 4 euro each its great value. Frigliana is wonderful and we aim to return, its a friendly village which still has a good local resident population, so retains its character. We visited in early May and the weather was hot enough to use the nearby pool, without crowds. Altogether a fabulous break in a wonderful village.

Experiencia para repetir

El alojamiento es perfecto. Ámplio, limpio y en un lugar excelente. No le falta detalle. Lástima que en las fechas en que nos alojamos no pudiéramos disfrutar de la piscina comunitaria. El único inconveniente te es que no se.puede acceder en coche, pero es que, salvo los residentes, nadie puede acceder en coche al pueblo. De todas formas, hay un parking muy económico a escasos 200 m. del apartamento.

Both myself and my husband purchased the property in November 2018. We both retired early from work and were looking for something to invest in. We currently live in Hampshire England and have 2 grown up children. My husband now works for himself, whilst I manage our home in Spain, volunteer in my spare time, carry out admin work for my husband and love gardening.

We fell in love with Frigiliana many years ago and loved the feel of the community, the friendly and helpful locals who are always happy to see us come back, along with the wonderful views and being able to relax.

We were looking for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom property with lots of light, space and within easy reach of the old quarter. The property gives us everything that we wanted and especially love relaxing on our balcony and watching the world go by.
We love the open plan feel of the upstairs where everyone can be together and socialise. We have enjoyed spending many holidays in our home and never tire from everything that it has to offer.

We feel that the property benefits from being a duplex arrangement, where the living, sleeping and relaxing areas are on 2 separate floors. Which enables guests to enjoy some peace and quiet should they need it.

We enjoy the openness of the kitchen and living space, with access to the top balcony from both the kitchen and the lounge. We love the natural light that floods in. The Juliette balcony also offers fantastic views. We have been told many times that it feels like a home.
