Apartment Lyra is a large size (65m2) accommodation with the large terrace and 180 degree sea view, shared swimming pool, modern kitchen, Wireless internet access, satellite TV, air conditioner, washing machine, etc..

The apartment has two bedrooms. One room has two single beds (90 cm, length 200 cm) with access to a small balcony. The second bedroom with double bed (160 cm, length 200) and terrace.

Apartment can accommodate max. 5 people ( 4 adults/1 child), two people sleep on double bed, two on single beds, and one on sofa bed or extra children bed.

The apartment is well positioned for exploring the nature and history of our beautiful island. Swimming, walking, scuba diving, cycling, dining and boat terminals for day trips to local tourist destination are all up to 15 minute drive away.

Apartment Lyra has the appropriate facilities and comfort to make your stay both enjoyable and memorable. Open plan kitchen offers you self-catering for easy living.

From terrace you will have a view across the bay towards numerous small islands scattered across the sea. There you'll be able to enjoy glorious mornings, spectacular sunsets and diamond scattered night sky. Just 30 meters from the beach, you'll have your own jetty to enjoy swimming from sunrise to sunset.

Only 30 meters from unspoiled Adriatic Sea our accommodation offers a breathtaking view, privacy and tranquility. This is an ideal place to relax on the terrace and enjoy a glass of wine with friends and family.

Karbuni bay is a very quiet and peaceful bay, with a few tourists, and no loud bars, or nightclubs. All of these facilities are available in Vela Luka and Blato, just a 15 minute-drive. Short (40min) boat trip from Vela Luka will take you to island of Proizd, a little island with a beach chosen as the most beautiful Adriatic beach in 2007. Enjoy a day trip from our house to town of Korcula and explore a typical medieval Dalmatian town.

The island of Korcula is one of the greenest and most beautiful islands on the Adriatic Sea. With abundant vineyards and olive groves, pine forests, unspoiled beaches, crystal clear waters and hidden islands untouched by time, Korcula island is a true Mediterranean paradise. Thought to be the birthplace of Marco Polo, Korcula is an unspoiled historic gem.From the 13th Century onward, different states tussled over the island, leaving a unique mix of renaissance, baroque and Venetian architecture. You will find here villages isolated of the time, places where you can breathe peace, green fields and small houses surrounded by nature.

Our house is a non-smoking property.

Small and medium size dogs which don't shed hair are welcomed, assuming there are good mannered :).

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in diesem sehr schönen Apartment Lyra. Der Weg ans Meer ist kurz und der Gemeinschaftspool für ein Abkühlung zwischendurch sehr praktisch.Karbuni selbst ist ein sehr ruhiger Ort und zum entspannen ideal. Den einzigen Abstrich gibt es für die wirklich sehr geringe Internetbandbreite (sofern man darauf Wert legt).Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Un très beau séjour à Korkula

L'appartement est vraiment très bien, notre contact réactif et sympa. C'est grand, propre, fonctionnel, la vue est imprenable. Il y a une piscine commune et une grande terrasse avec barbecue quasi toujours disponibles du fait du très faible nombre d'apparts concernés. L'accès à la mer est immédiat mais il faut penser aux chaussures d'eau voire à une recette pour cuisiner l'oursin !

Mooi uitzicht, rustige omgeving

Wij hebben een week doorgebracht in dit ruime appartement met prachtig uitzicht. Er waren enige kleine puntjes ter verbetering die we aan de eigenaar hebben doorgegeven. Als je van rust houdt is dit een prima plek om te verblijven. Het ligt wat afgelegen. Het enige nadeel voor ons was het aantal trappen om bij het appartement te komen. Dit waren er meer als we verwacht hadden.

Excellent property- spectacular views!

We stayed 10 nights in apartment Lyra. It was super. Well equipped, and very comfortable.There was a local lady was on hand to call upon for any problems. The pool was small, but well maintained and we were very grateful for it, as it was very hot some days. There were 2 bikes for use of the guests, which was lovely, to pop to the simple shop for bread in the mornings. They also sold great pizzas in the evenings. The highlight of the apartments though were the view from the balcony-simply beautiful day and night. We would recommend an evening in Vela Luka- some nice restaurants, and local folk dancing some nights. Hiring Kayaks and paddling round the islands was also good fun. All in all, highly recommended, prompt communication with the owner also.

perfekt!!! nice house in paradise!everything top.

Modern and clean house in paradise.the view over the sea is a dream.you can swimm in the sea direkt under the house.we have observe delfins 3times direkt under the house.the water is claer and warm.we see many famouse colors in nature.: blue water ,blue sky, silver moon.....everything is perfekt in your house.we want come back in the next year. A tip is the small wood house in karbuni ,the name is tiki. Every morning you can by fresh baguette breth eggs fruits and any things.in the evening you can eat there very fine . Pizza , Burger ,Spits and any other things not so expensive. Blato and vela luka are not so far fron karbuni.you can buy everything in any markets there .7 days at the week. We love also the portcitys korcula and vela luka. Vela luka ....eating gelato look and see boats,drink the best coffee in the world(dianas ice & coffee). Thank you peter for this very nice time in your house. We bring you next year pot lid as gift for you.😉☺☺☺😉 Cu mika michelle matthias ivonne👍

Wunderschön und ruhig

Die Lage ist ein Traum, es ist wunderschön dort, das Meer ist herrlich und Wohnung und Terrasse sind großzügig und gut ausgestattet - genau wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Es war sehr ruhig (Vorsaison) und es gibt einen kleinen Kiosk und eine Konoba am Ort. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants gibt es in Blato (12 Min. mit dem Auto) und Vela Luka (20 Min. mit dem Auto). Das WLan hat ganz gut funktioniert, zwischendurch ein bisschen langsam, aber das war kein Problem. Alles in allem ein toller Urlaub - ruhig und entspannt.

Ruhig und verträumt.

Die gepflegte und gut ausgestattete FeWo (Ausstattung wie beschrieben) liegt am Ende der Ortschaft Karbuni in ruhiger Lage (Hanglage); zum Meer (Badeplattform) sind es ein paar Stufen. Man ist dort ziemlich unter sich, da sie nur von wenigen Anwohnern genutzt wird, die zudem auch nicht immer da sind. Die Gegend ist ein landschaftlicher Traum. Möchte man täglich essen gehen, wird es allerdings etwas mühsam, da die nächsten brauchbaren Lokale sich erst in rd. 15km Entfernung befinden (Vela Luka) und der Weg dorthin nicht "unspannend" ist (die ersten gut 5 km sind einspurig mit Ausweichlücken). Die Kinder störten sich am langsamen WLAN.

Perfekt zum Entspannen und Entschleunigen.

Wir waren in App. "Lyra" untergebracht und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen (Wasch- u. Spülmaschine, Mikrowelle, Gefrierkombi, Backofen/Herd, Klima im Wohnzimmer, Gas- und Holzgrillkamin beim Pool bzw. hinter dem Haus). An allen Schlafräumen sind Rollos gegen Stechmücken angebracht - sehr gut. Sauberkeit in Ordnung, es wird bei Gästewechsel von einer Putztruppe gereinigt. Den tollen Ausblick und den kurzen Weg zum Meer werden wir sehr vermissen. Das ist bislang der einzige Ort an dem wir ein zweites Mal Urlaub machen würden, sonst geht es normalerweise jedes Jahr woanders hin. TOP! Als Ausgangspunkt für Touren nach Vela Luka (ca. 9km) gut geeignet. Dort auch größerer Supermarkt (Tommy) am Ortseingang. An der Bar "Tiki" kann man morgens zw. 8-12 auch Brot und etwas Backwaren kaufen. Ausflugsmöglichkeiten z.B. zur Badeinsel Proizd oder mit Kindern zum Höhlengewölbe "Vela Spila". Amüsant-chaotisch gehts in der nahegelegenen Konoba Karaka zu, man braucht aber viel Zeit und es geht auch mal ne Bestellung verloren - Essen aber recht gut. Wer auf etwas organisierteren Service steht, der fahre über die Schotterpiste zum Riva1 nach Prizba. Etwas teurer, aber professioneller.

a beautiful apartment in a beautiful place

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week on the island of Korcula, in one of these beautiful apartments. Karbuni Bay is quiet and serene, perfect for a peaceful holiday yet only a short drive from historic towns with plenty of restaurants. The scenery is stunning and the view is just like in the photos. The apartment was very comfortable and modern with good internet. Our host was very prompt and helpful with all communications. I highly recommend this apartment.

Das Appartment sieht genauso aus wie beschrieben und auf den Bilder zu sehen. Sehr modern eingerichtet, sauber und mit einer unglaublichen Aussicht. Aufgrund der Lage ist es sehr ruhig, genau was wir zur Erholung wollten. Und Ivan hat sich sehr zuvorkommend um uns gekümmert. Wir fanden das Appartment so toll, dass wir 2016 wiederkommen wollen.

Das Appartment war genauso wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos zu sehen. Sehr modern eingerichtet, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Aussicht ist großartig und aufgrund der Lage ist es sehr ruhig, man kann sich super erholen. Und Ivan hat sich super um alles kümmert. Lovely island and apartment

We come back this year because of the location and the comfort of the apartment. It is quiet, the view is fabulous, the sea is few steps from the apartment which is well equipped, clean. The tasty decoration and the small hidden details gives the apartment a warm "home" feeling. Karbuni is for those who love the clean and quiet seaside, but from here you can easily reach Korcula Islands wonderful bays and cities.

Lovely island and apartment

We come back this year because of the location and the comfort of the apartment. It is quiet, the view is fabulous, the sea is few steps from the apartment which is well equipped, clean. The tasty decoration and the small hidden details gives the apartment a warm "home" feeling. Karbuni is for those who love the clean and quiet seaside, but from here you can easily reach Korcula Islands wonderful bays and cities.

My name is Peter. I come from a small island in Croatia called Korcula. I currently live in Brisbane, so our family and friends help us to take care of our guests and run apartments during summer season. We have a house in Karbuni, a small bay near town of Blato where I come from.

The house has a fantastic view i and designed to provide very good comfort. We strive to offer a great service, so that our guest can have enjoyable and memorable holidays.

We would like to invite you to visit our beautiful island and stay in our apartment.

“The best place I've ever been so far”

If you like quiet places with a breathtaking view, this is the place. There's everything you might need for your stay. The road to the place is good, so no logistical issues. There are grocery stores 3-5 km away, lots of bicycle paths and a parking lot. The internet connection is decent. What I cherish the most is the views, serenity and the sea

Me and my family (2adults, 2 children and a dog) for the 10th consecutive year are spending our holiday in Croatia. During the years we have rented many holiday houses in different places but for sure this is the best place we have ever been!
The house is new, clean, furnished with a modern taste and of course the view from the balcony stole the heart!
Karbuni is a perfect place if you are looking for a relaxing period.
