Villa Gordana is situated above the beach of St. James, in Dubrovnik near the most luxurious hotels. Behind the villa is a community park, from which you can walk to the historical city in just 15 minutes. The pretty pebble beach and crystal clear waters are within walking distance, where you can soak up the sun and enjoy the idyllic sea breeze.The villa is elevated, providing a breath-taking view of the sea and the island Lokrum. The garden, terrace and surrounding trees give this villa a private and tranquil feeling, like you are part of the untouched nature that surrounds it. The outdoor terrace and sunbathing area offer plenty of space to relax and enjoy the sun, whilst the terrace has outdoor dining sets so you can enjoy al fresco dining.This unique villa is made up of traditional stonework and green windows. The interior is dominated by Croatian wooden furniture and wooden ceilings, creating a warm and homely atmosphere. On the ground floor there is a living room, dining area, fully-equipped kitchen and a toilet with a washing machine. Green doors open up to the terrace and you can enjoy the stream of light and air that enters the quaint villa.One the first floor there of the villa there are 2 double bedrooms with a neutral colour scheme and plenty of storage space, the unique green doors add a quirky touch to these rooms. Also on this floor there is a modern bathroom with spacious bath tub. On the second floors there are another 2 bedrooms and another modern bathroom with a shower. We had a great stay here. Very comfortable. Great location. Access to the water right in front of the house. Parking was not an issue at all. There is a space right in front of the garage so you didn’t have to try to maneuver the car in. Would stay again for sure!

Perfect spot near old Dubrovnik

Wonderful spot across the street from the sea and just a short walk to the tourist zone. So well situated and big enough for everyone. Really lovely.

Brilliant service!

We stayed here as a big group with kids. The place was exactly as described and pictured. If you are traveling with kids, there is a lot walking to get to any cafes or restaurants. Also, the road the house is on is very narrow - just something to be mindful of. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay. The rooms very beautiful and comfortable. The location was peaceful and convenient.

Great stay!

The villa is in a great location, 15 mins walk from the old town and 10 mins from a lovely little beach with a great bar. The views from the villa are stunning, each room has a sea view. The only issue we had was the air con didn’t work in one room but after messaging the host, they sorted this out very quickly. We had a fantastic time so thank you!

Glorious residence!

Had a great time at the accomodation, specifically the view on the sea is amazing. The house is spacious and facilities are decent. Some things to keep in mind: - house can be a bit noisy (i.e. from the middle floor you can hear each step/word from the upper floor) - warm water can run out if you are with many people who need to shower, plan accordingly. - stove was a bit confusing but host helped us - it's a 20 min walk to the old town, ensure you are up to it

Brilliant service!

We loved it here! Charming house in a great location - a lovely neighborhood and just steps away from an amazing swimming spot. We felt very taken care of by our hosts. We ran into an issue with the house (that was out of the hosts’ control) and they quickly dealt with it, ensuring we had a comfortable and easy stay. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location. Very walkable to the center and the Dubrovnik wall. Comfortable beds, good water pressure. There are stairs to all the bedrooms. Also, please note that all stores are closed on Sunday so plan accordingly.

Glorious residence!

Bigger bedrooms than looked in the photos. Parking is well known to be difficult in Dubrovnik so I recommend if you have a large vehicle using the local daily park rental. Lovely rocky beach spot below the property. We had issues with the heating but it wasn't overly cold even in March. Shower sometimes needs to refill with warm water so space out showers. very speedy response time. Nice quiet area to relax outside of town but close enough to walk or short Uber. it was a magical vacation and would definitely visit here again.

Great location, poor communication with managers

Overall our stay was quite pleasant, but there was some communication issues with the property managers. Be careful at check in because Google maps does a bad job showing where the property is. Perhaps the company should provide a map with more details of the location of the property to guide renters to the property. Do not assume that listed amenities are available without clarifying with the property managers. Although a high chair is listed as one of the amenities, the property manager tried to charge €5 per day have in the property. With some pushback they agreed to provide the chair without charge. However, it was not there when we arrived. The high chair was brought after an email to the property manager. The biggest issue that we had was a shower that was not working properly. After reporting to the number listed, we heard no response after more than 12 hours. After emailing, we finally received a response but it took another 12 hours for the shower to be repaired. The location of the property is excelent. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and 20-25 mins to old town. The property was clean and as described in the listen. The outdoor space was very nice for spending the evening after a long day at the beach. Overall, a very nice property, there are just some communication issues to be resolved.
