Staying near Mt St Michel
We made a trip to the Mont St Michel after visiting Paris. Two friends were joined lately and we booked one more apartment for them. Everything looked good until I received a message from the host, informed me that the payment could not go through. The problem came up because my card was about to expire and a new card was issued by the bank. I activated the new card and didn't realise that it will affect the payment for this booking. I tried to contact the host through messaging I the Vrbo website, or email to the host directly. The response were not to resolve the problem and the feedbacks were slow. It was not resolved until the morning of the check in date when I sent the new expiry date of my card to the host. It was just a simple problem and 5 minutes could solve it if it was handled properly. It took more than 2 days to get it resolved and I didn't know if our trip could go on or not.
