Beautiful stay

Fantastic accommodation with a magnificent terrace and beautiful access to the sea. Very accommodating host with excellent welcome. Small village of Pisak within walking distance. Had an excellent stay, highly recommend this place for a short, relaxing stay.

Unser Urlaub war unbeschreiblich schön. Die wunderschönen Appartements liegen an der Küste neben dem malerischen Dorf Pisak den man über einen kleinen Pfad oder über die Strasse bequem in ein paar Minuten erreicht. Wir sin einige Male schön essen gegangen (sehr gut). Vedranas Haus ist so wundervoll, das wir sehr gern wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft und die immer sehr schnellen Rückmeldungen auf unsere Fragen.

Perfect appartment with direct view and access to crystal clear sea!

We very much enjoyed our stay: modernized appartment with terrace right over the crystal clear water, beautiful view along the coast line and to Brac, just a few stairs to jump into the sea and safely swim; 10-15 mins walk to Pisak harbour to have dinner or rent a boat or just shop what's needed - we did not need the car for the entire stay. Very friendly and helpful owner!

Great apartment "on" the water!

We came here for Easter 2019 and had a lovely time! This apartment has a fantastic location right "on" the water! The house is situated on the rocks next to the Adriatic sea and the top apartment has some fantastic views and a big terrace! The only "downside" would be that the house was a bit "off" in relation to things we wanted to see and do in Croatia and we ended up driving a lot. The plan of the apartment is very good and it is nice and bright! There was no real dining area inside but we moved the terrace table inside for dinner since we ate late. In the summer this will not be necessary since there will be no reason to eat inside. We had the breakfast on the terrace in the morning sun, which was lovely. The apartment was also very clean and the hosts very easy to communicate with and very helpful answering all types of questions. The only thing I could have wished for in the apartment were some curtains in the bedroom that would shut out the light a bit more in the morning. Bring a sleeping mask!

Super schönes Appartment mit kleinen Abstrichen

Wir haben mit insgesamt fünf Personen diese Wohnung für eine Woche gemietet. Die Wohnung an sich ist toll und mit der Terasse echt sehr, sehr sehenswert. Die Vermieterin ist nicht vor Ort, ist aber super zuvorkommend und sehr engagiert, dass man einen schönen Urlaub verbringen kann. So haben wir nach einem Fön gefragt und bereits am nächsten Tag einen kleinen Fön zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen. Zwei Punkte sind uns allerdings negativ aufgefallen, welche ich der Vollständigkeit halber erwähnen möchte: Zum einen habe ich vorher nicht gewusst, dass man zunächst 95 Treppen steigen muss, um zur Wohnung zur gelangen. Das ist kein negativer Aspekt, allerdings ist es für ältere oder nicht allzu aktive Personen schon eine Herausforderung jeden Tag mehrmals diese Menge an Stufen zu bewältigen. Zum anderen war die Wohnung nicht richtig sauber. Man kann es darauf zurückführen, dass wir auch schon um 12 Uhr vor Ort waren und um 13 Uhr Eintritt in die Wohnung hatten und vorher noch sauber gemacht werden musste. Allerdings waren einige schmutzige Teller im Schrank und alles war etwas halbherzig geputzt. Nichtsdestotrotz hatten wir eine super Zeit mit einer tollen Vermieterin, die sich gut um uns gekümmert hat und einer super schönen Wohnung irekt am Wasser!

Our family with 3 children; 11,11 and 8 years old lived in apartment A1 for one week. We loved the apartment with the nice roofterrace with an amazing view over the ocean and mountains, it’s absolutely beautiful. The apartment is very nice, clean, modern and has everything we needed. We loved diving in to the ocean and the kids jumped of the cliffs. The water is cristalclear. Throughout our journey the owner Vedrana has been very helpful and kind. Toller Urlaub für die ganze Familie

Wir verbrachten mit unseren zwei Kindern einen wirklich tollen und erholsamen Urlaub in Pisak. Pisak ist ein malerisches Dorf abseits der großen Touristenströme. Es gibt Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und man kann dort auch sehr gut Essen gehen. Zudem ist Pisak ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge aller Art. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, und falls Probleme auftauchen, sind die Vermieter jederzeit erreichbar und unglaublich hilfsbereit. Man sollte jedoch wissen, dass das Haus nicht direkt von der Straße aus zugänglich ist, sondern dass man ca. 95 Stufen bis zur Wohnung hinabsteigen muss.

Simply Magnificent

Our view overlooking the sea from the top floor apartment at the Villa Antares in Pisak was simply magnificent. In fact everything about our accommodation was first class, it having been recently fitted out to a simple but high standard of equipment, cleanliness and finish. Our owner could not have been more helpful and allowed us to keep in contact throughout our stay to answer our queries. The steps from our apartment led down to the sea and our own private space. The waters here were crystal clear and so swimming, snorkelling and fish feeding proved to be a holiday highlight as was the perfect peace and seclusion. We stayed in mid October 2017 and had glorious weather throughout. Pisak is a charming and picturesque fishing harbour, which out of season was beautifully quiet although thankfully the local quayside bar/restaurant was open for business albeit a little on the expensive side but nevertheless the grilled fish they served was excellent. Breda was also worth a visit for its beach, cafes and its accessible coastal path walks. For our party of three old crocks with suitcases, access to the apartment from the road via the 100 ish concrete steps was not really an issue for us but it might be worth checking this aspect when booking. Having said that, the Villa Antares is fabulous and a place we will most definitely return to next year.

A true dalmatian paradise

Villa Antares belongs to the most beautiful accommodations we can remember. The view to the majestic Biokovo mountains on the Makarska Riviera is breathtaking and the house has a lot of charm. Kitchen, bath, and furniture is all in a high quality and made of quality materials. Washing mashine and aircondition makes the stay comfortable. The whole house is perfectly clean. Excellent swimming just in front of the house in crystal clear sea. The host is natural friendly and really concernes about her guests. It´s worth to notice that there is about 100 steps from the road down to the apartments (depending on which apartment you are staying in). Pisak belongs to the most peaceful villages between Split and Makarska, but in the evenings music can sometimes be noticeable from the big tourist resorts on the Makartska Riviera, but only very, very slight. Pisak has an excellent position for interesting excursions of very different character, for exsample the Roman Palace of Diocletian in Split, old town of Omis, highland hiking in the wonderful mountains of Biokovo (nice cool in summer), the natural wonders of the blue and the red lake by Imotski (Modro and Crveno Jezero), rafting and swimming in the beautiful Cetina river a short drive from the house as well as a lot of excellent beaches along the coast. Villa Antares is a house to be visited many times.

Wonderful and relaxing stay in Pisak

Our stay with 2 kids in Villa Antares apartment A1 (fresh renovated) was wonderful. The apartment was great and specifically the terrace is wonderful as even when it's hot outside you can relax there as it never gets too hot there and rain is no problem as well. The water was crystal clear and you can find all you need (small supermarket, restaurant and cash machine in town. A bigger Supermarkt is located close to Pisak in (Brela). It was a wonderful vacation in Pisak, thank you to Vedrana and Ivo for kind hospitality and this great vacation.

Lovely apartment with fabulous views

Vedrana and Ivo made us feel very welcome, and their newly-renovated apartment was really a treat: the views from the terrace are gorgeous, beautiful blue skies, picturesque islands, and emerald green water so clear that we could clearly see fish under water from the third floor! The apartment has just been redecorated and it is great (new appliances, air-con and shower included), and the owners were very helpful. We were also lucky to be there before the tourist season fully set in, so it felt like we had the whole village to ourselves!

We spent the most beautiful summer holiday at Villa Antares. It was a dream holiday for me and my family. The house is story for itself. It is located only 2 meters near sea which is amazing. The house is truly beautiful and the most important thing is that it is clean. I will especially laud owners Vedrana and Ivo. Wonderful and kind people ready to help in every moment. Breathtaking experience..

Six months ago my family and I stayed in Villa Antares,beautiful accommodation situated in small city near Omiš. As soon as we got there we were astonished by the nearness of the sea and kindness of the local people, specially our hosts Ivo and Vedrana. Comfortable clean and tidy apartment with magnificent view made our holiday great from the start.Since we came in Pisak,we felt relaxed and full of positive energy.We have visited numerous places in the last several years but we never got rested anywhere like we did in Pisak. Because of that we decided to book immediately a date for the next year.My whole family is looking forward to come in Villa Antares next year and utill then great regards to Villa Antares Staff.

Perfect place for family holiday

Villa Antares was such a great experience for me and my family . Outgoing and friendly owners made the best out of our holiday. Not only did apartment have a great view and location but was also clean and tidy. The main terrace is perfect for relaxation and sunbathing. Just under the terrace there is a beach. We went on small trips to the near islands like Brač, Hvar and cities Split and Dubrovnik. In the centre of Pisak there is all you need: supermarket, bars, restaurants. To summerize we had a great time and we will definitely visit Villa Antares again. One more time thanks for exceptional owners Ivo and Vedrana. Toni with his family.

Can't get any better

My wife and I usually choose some nice hotel resort for our summer holidays but this summer we decided to do something different. Before we arrived to Villa Anthares we were thinking if it will be as shown on the photos, if we are going to miss a comfort and a convenience of hotel resorts, ..... but it was so much better then we expected!!!! As soon as we arrived my first thought was „Oh my god...we are so close to the sea.“ You can't get any closer. One step out of our bedroom and we were at the best place we could be, a terrace overlooking our private beach. It reminded me what Mediterranean really is. Terrace is about 5 meters above the sea level but still you can clearly see fish inside crystal clear water. Sunset vine on the terrace, watching passing fisherman boats and dolphins in front of us, enjoying tranquility of the small village with a few seafood restaurants with a great food,…those 2 weeks we spent there were amazing. Away from hotel crowd, away from the everyday fight with other tourists for a nice place on the beach, we felt like a royalty on our private beach and the best terrace view in the world. We also visited Omiš (15 min) and Split (1 hour by car). Both towns are full of archeological sites and very touristic oriented. Apartment was very clean and equipped with everything you need. Our hosts Vedrana and Ivo were very helpful and friendly. They shared with us a lot of local tips where to go and what to do to make our stay there even better. They even took us by their boat to one secluded pebble beach with underwater springs accessible only by boat only 200m away from our apartment. Vedrana and Ivo, thank you for a great holidays!! We are going to recommend your place to all our friends!
