The road, especially, passes through a canyon and offers breathtaking views of the lake. For history and architecture lovers, the many churches will be of special interest. At the weekly market, guests should shop for local products such as cheese, olive oil and honey. The natural wonders of the place take one from lakes to valleys to hills and paths that were once used by mules and now a source of delight for bikers and hikers.
