great time in Ombria

the location is great, we were on the 2nd floor appartment, with a nice terrasse with a great country side view, and also far enough not to get bitten by moskitos. I highlighy recommend this place and would love to come back. Location is great to visit Umbria. The owner gave us great recommendations for restaurants, visits and also wine and olive oil.

Endroit idyllique pour passer de magnifiques vacances

Nous avons occupé l’appartement « les glycines » pendant 2 semaines. Location extrêmement bien située pour rayonner en Toscane et en Ombrie. Appartement très bien équipé, spacieux, propre avec tout le linge nécessaire, pour chaque semaine. La vue de la terrasse et des chambres sur la campagne et le lac est magnifique; c’est un plaisir chaque matin d’ouvrir les volets. L’endroit le plus agréable de la propriété reste la piscine à débordement et ses alentours , très bien entretenus et soigneusement aménagés. Un grand merci à Jacopo et Alviero pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. Jacopo nous a été notamment d’une grande aide lorsque notre véhicule est tombé en panne. Nous recommandons vivement cette location, idéale pour passer de belles vacances et profiter de l’Italie!

Wunderbar erholsame Ferien auf dem Land

Wir waren rundum zufrieden! Der Vermieter Jacopo empfing uns sehr freundlich und hatte hilfreiche Tipps für uns. Herzlichen Dank nochmal! Die Wohnung war sehr sauber. Sie ist groß und hat ein gewisses Flair. Besonders gefielen uns die Terrazzoböden und mit Bedacht renovierte Details wie die alten Fensterläden auf den modernen Fenstern. Die große Terrasse mit dem tollen Ausblick und den großen Pool haben wir besonders genossen. Der Freizeitraum mit Tischtennisplatte, Kicker und Billardtisch wurde von unseren Kindern gerne aufgesucht. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Amazing property

Lovely quiet rural location with easy access to local village/towns. A wonderful base to make day trips and return to an amazing home away from home. Well appointed kitchen. All amenities including laundry. Spacious baths, living room, patio area and lovely pool area. Immaculate. Beautifully decorated. Owners absolutely the best, very helpful, engaging and dedicated to providing the best possible experience.

Très bon séjour

Cadre très calme et reposant. Magnifique piscine. Belle terrasse. La propriétaire est une personne très accueillante, très serviable et généreuse. A recommander sans réserve (sauf si votre chien n'aime pas les chats... par ailleurs bien sympathiques).

Well appointment Villa with great view's of the Umbria's countryside. Located within an hour's drive of beautiful city's and villages like Perugia, Siena, Montepulicano, Cortona to name a few.

un havre de paix dans un écrin de verdure à l'italienne

Endroit calme et maison typique, la piscine est extra , très bien entretenue et les abords agréables, transats, hamacs, balancelle, bbq... Le propriétaire est présent tous les matins et répond très rapidement aux petites questions d'ordre matériel, les oeufs frais que l'on peut avoir sur place sont un vrai régal.

Fantastic villa

As soon as we arrive, we are immersed in this ancient house, inhabited for a long time, by rich people. It is fabulous, the glories of the last centuries are revived, but I must say that they were good. A simply fabulous living room, a terrace without equal, a unique panorama. Thanks Alviero, for allowing us to experience a unique holiday.

Gute Mischung zwischen Erholung und Kultur

Die Unterkunft Villa la Fontana ist eine sehr gepflegte Anlage, in der jeder seinen Platz zum Sonnen, schwimmen oder anderen Aktivitäten finden kann. Alviero ist sehr hilfsbereit, herzlich und gibt gute Tipps bezüglich Ausflügen, Restaurants und ähnlichem. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und eine gute Mischung zwischen Ausflügen und Erholung gefunden.

Beautiful views of Lake Trasimeno

This is an ancient apartment with stunning views and a simply wonderful swimming pool, it seems to be alone in an enchanting landscape. Very relaxing, quiet area. The small market within walking distance provided the essential and some surprises (great bread). The walk (hike) down the hill to Castiglione del Lago offers shopping opportunities and restaurants. The taxi is available to go up the hill. Lovely churches are just around the corner. This apartment provided a necessary break during our busy tour in Italy.

Amazing view of the lake! Easy to get into town and close to facilities.

This apartment has one of the best views over the lake. Just stunning. Overall the apartment has what you need and the owners are available if you need anything. You would need a car here, however if you don't mind a hilly walk it is easy enough to walk down to the lake and restaurants but you would need some fitness!

idyllic haven

Booked 9 nights and have to say it was just fantastic. Our hosts were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. Our accommodation in Villa was spacious and typically Italian with lots of charm and character. Outside was beautiful with well tended planting, so many places to sit and a lovely swimming pool with stunning views. The scenery around the area is just out of this world. You are a few miles away from a supermarket but it is easy to find and there are some good restaurants a short drive away. Sienna is well worth a visit or two, also Cortona and Florence, but if you just want to sit back and relax, then this a great place to unwind. So many beautiful villages to visit and so much great wine to drink! We hope to return and thanks again to Alviero and Rosanna for making our holiday so special.
