The house was beautiful, clean and spacious. Well stocked and had everything we needed. We had 7 adults and a 2 year old and 4 year old and everyone was comfortable. Pool was perfect and beach is clean and close. Pam was very responsive. We had a wonderful week and made great memories that will last forever!

Family Adventure

We have a large family consisting of 7 children ages 5 to 10 and 8 adults. We look for a property that can accommodate this many folks and offer options for activities for the kids. This property fit our needs perfectly. The kids especially loved the pool and the game room was perfect for hot or rainy days. The lake was farther away than we would like but no one in the family complained. Pam was terrific to work with and answered all of our very detailed questions in a timely manor.I recommend this property to any large family interested in the lower southwest Michigan area.

Luxury meets Michigan outdoors

The kitchen was large enough for our family of 11 to gather and cook together every day. The large lower level windows provided a beautiful view of the woods and morning deer sightings! Bedrooms and bathrooms were thoughtfully laid out. There was more than enough room for everyone to have their own space. The kids loved the bunk room. Several nights we all hung out in the game/media room. The outdoor pool and hot tub were a plus for mornings and nights at the house. Most days we enjoyed being on the beach. It was a quick and easy walk to the beach through the woods. The private beach was great and provided the family plenty of room to spread out and play. Supplied beach towels and a washer and dryer were a plus! It was wonderful to feel so close to nature at the house, yet so easy to get to local restaurants and shops.

The best place for a big family!

The accommodations were even more spacious and beautiful than the pictures! The huge multi-purpose/game room was the perfect place for our kids to hang-out and play; the pool was lovely; the beach was uncrowded with soft sand and beautiful, clean Lake MI water; I could go on and on! Just wonderful!!!

Perfect extended family vacation spot

This is the first rental property that I have not been disappointed in when walking through the door. It is just as the pictures portrayed. The pool, hot tub and fire pit were fabulous. The setting was beautiful and the private beach was gorgeous. Our family loved every aspect of this property.

This is a beautiful home. The kids loved the pool, the games, ping pong. We all loved going down to the beach on Lake Michigan.

Well situated lovely spacious home steps away from fabulous beach!

We had a wonderful time. Lovely pool, well equipped kitchen, lots of sleeping options and places to hang out for our small group of 7! The nearby beach is great for long walks and very wide and Sandy! Beach chairs and umbrella would be a welcome addition! It’s a 10!

Perfect for a family

The beach barn is a perfect place for a big group. The house is immaculate and the location is in the middle of what seems to be a forest while only a short walk to Lake Michigan and nearly perfect beaches. Pam was very responsive to our questions and our family enjoyed our time so much.

Great for Everyone

We are a family of three generations who travel together once a year on a beach vacation. The Beach Barn with its beautiful property served all of our needs. The surrounding property was so much fun with visits from deer, the peaceful walk to the beach and the fun pool and hot tub. The inside of the house is perfect for a large family of diversified ages. Everything we needed was right there on the property. Pam was very easy to reach and her responses were always quick. We all agreed that this vacation ranked very high on our long list of travel experiences.

50th Wedding Anniversary Reunion

Perfect place for our 9 day family reunion of 11. The Beach Barn was clean and great kitchen with everything you need. The game room was a big hit with the teens as was the pool and lake. The home exceeded our expectations and Pam was quick to respond to our inquiries. We highly recommend Lake House Foods and chef Molly who prepared an amazing meal for us including serving and clean up. A Bit of Swiss in Stevensville made an outstanding mini wedding carrot cake. Best Vrbo experience ever.

wonderful home and perfect location for family gathering

The home is beautiful inside and out- fairly easy access to gorgeous private beach- it's a bit of a walk but no problem at all for our group. Enjoyed the huge game/TV room and the bunk room was a hit with the kids. Kitchen is spacious and well- equipped. Grill worked well and the pool and spa were perfect- we really appreciated the heated pool and hot tub as our weather was cool and rainy much of the week. Having a heated pool kept that option open for our kiddos! Our host was very responsive to any questions/concerns that arose during our stay
