Great accommodation, great location and great staff - met all our expectations!

Fantastic accommodation and service, perfectly meeting our extended family needs. Cody and his colleague answered any questions we had quickly and efficiently, in their usual friendly manner. Although there were full kitchen facilities, we also discovered a small friendly cafe (Salt and Pepper Kitchen) within very easy walking distance, which provided a lovely breakfast each morning. Highly recommend Higher Lane House, and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thank you!

Location is great and 5 bathrooms was a big plus. Said an email was coming with check in details and it never came (they sent a text to someone that didn’t have access to their mobile phone) when we finally got ahold of the host and got the code, there was no key and we had to wait another hour until someone came with a key. The living space is small for the size of the house. This time of year it was hot and with the windows open the birds were so loud, the pub next door was loud, and the trash pickup at 5 am made it hard to sleep.

Stayed here for 3 nights, with a family of 8. We could not fault the property at all, we all enjoyed staying here.All of the rooms were spacious and had everything we needed, and was a bonus each room had its own en suite! Kitchen has everything you need, enough space for everyone. Parking available at the back, although a bit tight getting cars in and out, we knew our cars were safe. Great location, only a short walk to local shops etc

Good central location

The house was very comfortable, as all of the 5 bedrooms had their own shower rooms/toilets. It served as a good base for our holiday, as it was in the centre of town and close to all of the restaurants and shops.

Private Hotel

This was the perfect stay in what was like our own private hotel with 5 on suite bathrooms, the kitchen/dining/living area was a bit on the small size for 9 guests but in great location with easy access to the Barbican and Hoe. Getting into carpark was a bit tight, but cars were safe. We would stay here again but would recommend additional storage/ drawers in the bedrooms.
