Set in Kalterherberg in the small resort town of Monschau, Germany, this holiday house with 8 bedrooms is perfect for large groups. Spacious enough to accommodate 19 people, this house has a sauna to unwind.
Monschau and nearby regions of Eifel offer ample sightseeing options including Eifeldom Monschau-Kalterherberg church, Museum Rotes Haus, and Sandskulpturen Monschau. For adventure seekers, hiking, biking, and cycling tours start right from this accommodation. You can also wander through the lush green area of the forest that’s just 100 m away.Whenever free, you can hit general supplies stores nearby, just 2 km away.
Parking is available on the premises. This house has also got arrangements for BBQ, trampoline, slide, garden furniture, and lots more.

Zeer lux oud hotel dat sinds 10 jaar in gebruik is als vakantiehuis voor max. 32 personen. Alles is aanwezig in een grote professionele keuken. Eigenaar en Eigenaresse zijn zeer vriendelijk. Elke dag komt hij de CV opstoken die draait op hout. Ook locatie is schittert gelegen op de grens van de Eifel en de Belgische Hoge Venen. Ook de bezichtiging van het plaatsje Monschau op ca 10 km is de moeite waard.

Gut Heistert ist ein ehemaliges Hotel, dessen Einrichtungen noch intakt sind (z. B. Bar/Restaurant, Frühstücks- und Spielzimmer mit Billardtisch, voll ausgestattete Industrieküche und Sauna). 8 Schlafzimmer, alle mit eigenem Bad. Die Aufteilung der Unterkünfte mit unterschiedlichen Räumen macht es ganz einfach, etwas Ruhe zu finden, während andere eher "aktiv" sind :-) Wir waren im Februar 2023 auf Gut Heistert und hatten eine fantastische Zeit. Sehr ruhige Lage, Supermarkt und Bäcker sind in 5 Autominuten erreichbar. Aufgrund der Jahreszeit haben wir die Außenanlagen nicht sehr oft genutzt, aber es gibt viel Platz! Schöne Wanderwege für alle vom Kleinkind bis zum eingefleischten Wanderer beginnen direkt vor der Haustür. Die Familie Janssen ist sehr gastfreundlich und zugänglich und löst Probleme sehr schnell, wenn sie während des Aufenthalts auftreten sollten. In unserem Fall hatten die Vormieter den Fußtisch (Kicker) beschädigt und außer Betrieb gesetzt. Ein neuer wurde gefunden und ein paar Tage später geliefert. Guter Service! Das Haus war sehr sauber! Sollte sich in Zukunft noch einmal die Gelegenheit ergeben, einen Urlaub mit einer ähnlichen Gruppe zu organisieren, käme Gut Heistert auf jeden Fall in die engere Wahl.

Sehr schön gelegenes Haus, absolut ruhige Umgebung. Außerhalb gelegen, deshalb für alle Besorgungen Auto notwendig. Spaziergänge durch Feld/Wiesenlandschaft direkt vom Haus aus möglich. Den gepflegten Garten mit Grillplatz konnten wir wettertechnisch nicht nutzen, ist im Sommer aber bestimmt sehr schön.

Zeer degelijk, mooi vakantiehuis. Goed uitgerust en voorzien op grote groepen. Te hoge kost voor eindreiniging, zeker gezien de zeer strikte eisen van de huiseigenaars onaangename sfeer bij in- uitchecken waarbij een hele waslijst aan regels doorlopen wordt.
