Perfect Place to Stay in The Algarve

We had an amazing stay here and highly recommend it! Unobstructed views over the water front and a series of walking trails right from the parking lot were fantastic...the trails led to two separate private beaches and the scenery was awesome! The furnishings were top notch and everything was perfect...the Jacuzzi was nice as well! We hope to return someday and if so would definitely stay here again!

Really nice apartment! When booking the apartment, you receive a pdf containing all info you have to know which is extremly useful and practical. Easy to check in and out. With free parking . About the apartment: VERY COSY, well equipped, very clean and with a perfect location with excellent views of the coast and the resort! The terrace is Fantastic!... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !...

My husband and our 2 dogs loved this place. It was very clean, well appointed with very nice furniture, fully equipped kitchen and the terrace is to die for. Sweeping views of the coast and Portimao. We sat outside for hours just watching the boat traffic, sunsets and the sound of the ocean. Hot tub soaking at night on the deck also very enjoyable. It’s convenient to all locations and a quaint town with plenty of dining options. We can’t wait to come back for another visit. Oh, hiking trails just steps away to see the dramatic cliffs of the coast. The cave tour was also very good. Not to miss.

Perfect location - ok apartment

This is a lovely area to stay. The location, view and access to the coast path and beaches was perfect. Contact with the host and the manager was always responded to quickly. We had a problem with the heating when we arrived (it was cold in March) and the manager attended very quickly and sorted it for us. Very happy with that.The apartment itself was a little tired and felt unloved. There were a few issues which we reported to the owner when we arrived, the most important being a shard edged hole in the halogen cooker hob which could have been dangerous and was just unacceptable. Broken trays in the fridge and a torn sun lounger were also problems.We felt that the apartment could do with a bit of attention to come up to its full potential.There were missing ‘little things’ such as no instructions for recycling - colour coded boxes but no guidance as to what to put in each. No instructions for some of the appliances - I had to ask the manager how to operate the cooker hood for instance as it wasn’t clear at all. A little love and care and some attention to details would make this apartment wonderful, as it was it was ok.

Awesome apartment with marvelous views

A 3-night stay with my spouse, kid and dog. The apartment is well equipped with everything you would possibly need. The jacuzzi and the amazing balcony views will make you want to stay indoors forever (try to resist, as there are some nice beaches easily accessible on foot). A word of advice: the name of the property is not casual. 2 angry territorial seagulls living in the rooftops will try to “poke your coconut” whenever you decide to go for a stroll (something that my kid enjoyed and, for the first time in his life, made him volunteer to walk the dog). Would definitely recommend it!

Stunning location and views

I want to start off by saying that our stay at Paula’s place is an experience that we will remember for a lifetime. The spectacular view, the large terrace, the apartment amenities, and peaceful and serene surroundings of the apartment complex. It’s location just outside of the fishing village of Ferragudo was an added bonus. Ferragudo is a charming, authentic and active fishing village. Paula’s place was perfect as it had all the amenities and creature comforts one could ask for while travelling abroad. Her apartment was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was fully functional with everything you need to make all your meals, and the living room and bedroom were cozy and comfortable. It had close access to everything you needed (groceries, restaurants, etc) We really enjoyed the large terrace views of the coast and the Atlantic Ocean. And as an added surprise, we happened to discover that the Caminho dos promontorios was right at the end of the street to our complex. It’s a 7-8 km hike/walk with fantastic coastal scenery, cliffs and caves giving lots of photographic opportunities. The trails and paths along the walk are rugged with steep ascents and descents but the views are stunning along the coast with Portimao, Lagos and Sagres all visible. When we come back to southern Portugal we will definitely be staying at (Paula’s) place. The selfish part of me doesn’t want to tell too many people this because her place and its location are a real hidden treasure and I want to keep it that way and to myself. But seriously, our experience with wonderful and Paul’s place was 5 star perfect. Obrigado.

Immense balcon privé avec vue imprenable offrant des couchers de soleil exceptionnels. Tres bien situé dans la région de l'algarve. Magnifique plage a distance de marche et plusieurs restaurants! Petit village de pecheurs pas très loin. Appartement encore plus beau que sur les photos. Petit bain tourbillon sur la terrasse très apprécié après de longues journées de marche. Wir hatten einen rundum Wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Appartment. Das Ambiente in der Wohnung lädt zum Wohlfühlen ein und alle nötigen Haushaltsutensilien sind vorhanden. Die Terrasse ist sehr großzügig, Stilvoll und bieten einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer inclusive der tollen Sonnenuntergänge. Wenn fragen aufgekommen sind hinsichtlich der Wohnung hatten wir einen super netten Ansprechpartner der uns kurzfristig geholfen hat. Wir können diese Wohnung sehr weiterempfehlen.

Stunning view, great interior, friendly host! Everything we wished for. The apartments are perfectly furnished and we did not miss anything, even for our long-term stay. Paula was very welcoming and made us feel at home. We have stayed at other apartments before and this one is by far our favourite! Also the surroundings are really nice as it is very close to two different beaches and only a short walk or drive to Ferragudo. We can only recommend staying here and we will be back for sure!

Apartamento com localização unica e invejável, com vistas diretas para o mar, decoração com muito bom gosto e requinte. Com espaços de jardim muito agradaveis. Local muito tranquilo com com tudo perto, 2 praias lindíssimas a menos de 5 minutos a pé, bons restaurantes e bares nas proximidades. O melhor local do Algarve para passar umas ferias tranquilas. Excelente localizacao para visitar todo o Algarve. Estacionamento facil e gratuito. Vou querer voltar e recomendo.

Come dans un rêve

Ont a passées d'excellentes vacances à Ferragudo et ceci avec chien :). Un grand merci à la proprietaire qui nous a chaleureusement acceuili et qui nous a tout au long de nos vacances informer sur les meilleures restaurants et endroits à visiter. L'appartement était décoré avec charme et goût et équipé avec tout ce qu'on avait besoin. Sans oublier cette grande terasse avec une vue suprenante à couper le soufle et ce coucher de soleil si beau et romantique simplement wow. Merci pour ces beaux moments, ont reviendra.

Très bel appartement avec une vue fascinante

L'appartement est très confortable et très bien décoré. Rien ne manque et la terrasse pour regarder le soleil se coucher ou lire est très grande. Fantastic Views

This is a great apartment with a huge terrace looking straight to sea overlooking the comings and goings into Portimao harbour. Facing west the sun was on the terrace until 6.30 even in October, before fantastic sunsets. Everything about the apartment is spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with a brand new sofa and really comfortable sun beds. Paula is very friendly and incredibly efficient, replying to any requests really quickly. It is a great place for a relaxing stay. We will be back. Trevor and Wendy

Fantastisches Apartment in bester, ruhiger Lage mit überwältigendem Blick auf den Atlantik und die Hafeneinfahrt von Portimao. Das Apartment ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber (2 mal die Woche wird gereinigt), der Check-in ist völlig unproblematisch (fragt nach Leonora) und ein kostenloser Parkplatz ist auch dabei. Allein der Blick von der Terrasse auf den Ozean war schon die Buchung wert! Im nahen Ort Farragudo gibt es alles was man braucht, gute Restaurants am Marktplatz, Strände, einen Fischerhafen mit noch mehr Restaurants und auch Supermärkte um sich zu versorgen.

Serve apenas esta breve nota para agradecer por estes dias maravilhosos: o apartamento é fantástico e apesar de as expectativas serem altas, logo que chegámos, foram de imediato superadas; obrigada por todos os detalhes que deixou á nossa disposição e que foram muito apreciados: os chinelos deram muito jeito porque nos esquecemos dois nossos em casa; Obrigada também pelo vinho de boas vindas. O apartamento tem de facto tudo, está muito bem decorado e foi sem dúvida pensado para bem receber hospedes. A zona envolvente é muito agradável, equilibrada e genuína. Ontem fomos de bicicleta até ao Carvoeiro, mas sempre com vontade de voltar. Gostámos muito da praia dos Caneiros e gostámos de rever Ferragudo. Havemos de regressar! The best you can get !!!!!

This apartment is the best you can have for a relax holly day. It has everything you can imagine to have a great time, a romantic view, a very big terrace with nice furniture and comfortable chairs. The apartment is nice decorated with a modern kitchen and good beds. The area is fantastic, a small but beautifull beach around the corner and all the nice places from the algarve are near by if you rent a car. Paula is a great person , you can ask everything you need. The pictures are very very realistic, it is really what you get. We stayed a week, in the middle off the week, we get new towels and cleaning, without extra charges. We sourly coming back tho this jewel, with the whole family because you can rent a few apartments next to each other's. Bart and Inge
