A cute and romantic getaway for a couple or small family to either just get away or use as a base to enjoy the amazing local scenery.. Ground Floor:

Living/dining room: Freeview Smart TV

Kitchen: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Coffee Machine, Washing Machine

First Floor:

Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

Bedroom 2: Single (3ft) Bed

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. . Garden with garden furniture. 1 medium sized dog accepted, free of charge. Private parking for 1 car; additional on road parking, 100 yards. No smoking.. Number 3 Flying Horseshoe Cottage is a delightful, stone-built cottage located just a few hundred yards from the railway station on the outskirts of the pretty village of Clapham. The terrace property, part of a barn conversion, is packed full of character and charm, and is an excellent getaway for a couple or small family wishing to explore the Yorkshire Dales and surrounding areas. Dedicated parking is at the front door while to the rear the garden is a superb place to relax and forget life’s troubles. With the stunning Dales landscapes right on your doorstep, Number 3 is a great place to relax and enjoy country living, with the famous Settle-Carlisle Railway starting just a short drive away. The villages, towns and cities of Settle, Ingleton, Kirkby Lonsdale, Leeds, Skipton, Ribblehead, Dent, Garsdale and Appleby can easily be reached in the car or on the railway line. The cycling and walking opportunities are endless and there are a number of country pubs and award-winning restaurants all within a short distance. The local farm shop is also just a mile away, selling organic vegetables and local produce, and also has a coffee shop. Ingleton is always well worth a visit for its incredible scenery, impressive woodland waterfalls and stunning show caves. A great place to stay all year round!

Perfect for 1 adult and a dog! Impressed with how much was provided in the cottage (small things that make a big difference, such as milk on arrival, sharp knives for cooking, and plenty of towels). It was so well located and with family staying at number 6, we had lots of adventures from the cottage – the train to Appleby, Scaleber Force, Malham Cove, the cheese shop. It was lovely to come home for cosy evening meal and a comfy nights sleep before the next day out! As someone staying alone the cottage felt safe and secure and the neighbours were all very welcoming and kind.

Second stay here at the cottage, with family staying at number 6.

Second stay here at the cottage, with family staying at number 6. The cottage is comfortable and has everything you need. Enjoyed adventures to White Scar Caves (though enjoyed Ingleborough Caves more on the previous visit). It's a great location for exploring the different attractions locally, we also ventured over to Wensleydale Creamery and enjoyed a cheese filled menu at the restaurant (book in advance).
