A very warm welcome to our beautiful lodge, a much loved property on the outskirts of the small town of Bovey Tracey, located in a hidden wooded glade, but conveniently adjacent to the owners 15c Thatched farmhouse . Boasting 1 bedroom, plenty of space for socialising plus flexible accommodation, this cottage makes the perfect peaceful holiday home for a couple, conveniently located on the edge of Dartmoor National Park so ideal for hiking and cycling (adjacent to the Wray Valley Trail) or for trips to the South Devon Coast, the vibrant city of Exeter and locally the myriad lanes of Devon offer opportunities for exploring the nature of this stunning corner. Everything about this property has been well thought out from the retro decor through to the high quality and comfortable furnishings to create a relaxed and luxurious feeling.


As a self-catering cottage, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.
The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, an oven, a kettle, a freezer, a toaster and a microwave.
The cottage is a perfect place to relax and offers free-sat television (with Netflix), a Bluetooth speaker unit and although this is the perfect quiet get away we provide high speed internet access via space X . Or just chill with one of the many books


There is one bedroom in this cottage which contains a double bed provided with a high quality Otty mattress and pillows with plenty of hanging space and under bed storage


There is one bathroom, which has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower.

Outside there is a South facing covered veranda with seating that offer views through the trees to Dartmoor, the glade has an additional feasting area with table, chairs, BBQ, and fire pit,. There is a secure area for locking and washing down bikes and exterior lighting for security.

A unique feature of this property is the outside private hot tub with views over the adjacent field . The tub is open all year.

All heating, hot water and tub work from an eco friendly heat pump system. There is an EV charge point available at extra cost.

There is free parking area with 13amp charging point, fee based on usage

Although no longer a working farm we do have poultry (no cockerel!!) so we have good supplies of fresh eggs are available to purchase

A unique feature of this lodge is the all year round outside private 2m round by 1.3m deep heated tub and al fresco shower with a openable port hole so you can enjoy views across to Dartmoor. New for ‘25 is our private wood fired sauna hut (fees apply please enquire)

Linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.

On arrival you will find local milk in the fridge and other seasonal treats
