Great location and fair price

The property is centrally located to restaurants in rome and to the metro. I wish that the plumbing would have been fixed so that there was not a sewer type order in the apartment.

Large and Spacious

The apartment is very spacious in general. It has 3 bedrooms (1 queen/king, 2 singles and bunk beds). The posting was confusing with the sight indicating 4 bedrooms. This was not a problem for us, as we were only 4 people traveling. It is a short 5-7 blocks from Termini which is very convenient. It is across from the UK embassy and is very quiet area.

This is a great appartment in an ultra safe neighborhood. Very comfortable for our family of 5. Short walk pretty much any where a tourist would want to go. Public transport everywhere too! Short walk, even with luggage, to Rome Termini. Excellent for independent travellers.

Lovely apartment in good area.

Host was very helpful in giving information on how to get around Rome and how to find supermarket etc. Apartment should have extra pillows available as some people like to sleep with two pillows. Basics like detergent for washing dishes should be provided.

Spacious apartment, close to public transportation.

Large, clean apartment, great for families, was big enough for 6 of us without feeling crowded, 2 bathrooms so getting ready was fast. AC was great in the july heat. Paola was quick to respond to my questions, very nice in person and pointed us to the best gelato shop around the corner. Bus stop across the street, metro and restaurants in walking distance.

Excellent location in Rome

Paola and Marco were excellent hosts. They helped get a limo from the airport for about the same price as a taxi. The Check-in was smooth and the place as advertised. We are a family of 5 and the accommodations were adequate. The location is very good. We explored Rome on foot for the most part and we only used public transport to get to the Vatican. Highly recommended!

Exactly what we needed!

There were 8 of us, and although it was only a one night stay, things were great. Paola was very understanding and patient with us, too, since we missed some messages and made her wait. Overall, a great stay!

Pleasant stay in Rome

Paola and Marco were wonderful hosts. They were in communication with us every step of the way, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The apartment is within walking distance of most sites in Rome. Cabs, busses, and the metro are all close by if you don’t feel like walking. I would definitely recommend staying at this location!

Uitstekend verblijf!

Wij verbleven de eerste week van juli in het appartement van Paola en Marco. Een eenvoudig maar goed onderhouden verblijf, zeer ruim voor 6 personen. Het is centraal gelegen, uitstekend om Rome te voet te verkennen. Omdat het appartement gelegen is tegenover de Engelse ambassade, is het er ook heel veilig om je auto achter te laten. Om de hoek vind je de beste ijsjeszaak van Rome en vlakbij ook een lekker restaurantje waar we verschillende keren gaan eten zijn. Een echte aanrader dus!

Great property for families or larger groups

This apartment is quite large. There are three bedrooms (and a living room that can double as one), multiple beds, and two bathrooms. For our group, with two families, it was an ideal setting. If you're there in the heat of the mid-summer, as we were, the blast of cold air from the air conditioning as you open the door was very much welcome. There are A/C units in just about every room. The clothes washer was a nice amenity, though (as is more common in Europe) there is no dryer, but instead a drying rack. If you're coming from another country, don't forget to bring power adapters with you. There are more than enough outlets, but they are a special three-pronged outlet that is unique to Italy and a few other countries. We were forewarned about the elevator having a capacity of only 3 people (and a 250kg/550lb weight limit... so if you've got heavy luggage or big guests or a combination of both, be sure to do the math!) but let me just say that this elevator was a blessing. Lugging 50lb suitcases up four flights of stairs isn't something you want to be doing. Focus on the fact that there is an elevator, not that it's smaller than ones you may be accustomed to. Location-wise, if you're taking the train in and ending up at the Termini station, this property is close enough to that where you can wheel your luggage without too much of a problem. The two closest Metro stations are a 10 minute 1/2 mile walk to Repubblica (the A-line, best for getting to the Vatican or the Spanish Steps) and a 6 minute 1/3 mile walk to Castro Pretorio (the B-line, best for Colosseo which is right by the Colosseum). Multiple restaurants are close by, as is a supermarket, and - most importantly - plenty of gelaterias. We always felt safe in the neighborhood, even at night. Our host Paulo was very nice, and as others have mentioned, is very helpful when it comes to providing maps and directions to nearby attractions, making restaurant recommendations, etc. We were able to co-ordinate an earlier check-in than the advertised time (a good idea to install WhatsApp on your phone and communicate with Paulo that way), but it's probably worth investigating some of the luggage storage websites out there as there are a few nearby the apartment in case an early check-in can't be accommodated. This apartment definitely met our needs. Our host Paulo was pleasant and reasonable to deal with and we had a great time during our stay in Rome. Book with confidence!

Wonderful neighborhood

This apartment is large and roomy. The neighborhood is friendly with wonderful restaurants. Public transportation is convenient as well. I would recommend this apartment to a group or family.

L'appartamento è spazioso e pulito. Perfettamente corrispondente all'annuncio. La proprietaria è stata molto disponibile in tutto. Posizione molto buona: comodo sia a termini che a castro pretorio (metro linea B), inoltre davanti casa e a 200 mt (via 20 settembre) ci sono numerose linee Autobus, comodissime per chi non può camminare molto.

Wonderful location and comfortable rooms. WiFi was hit and miss, but generally worked. Watch for the charges you have to pay upon arrival (tax and cleaning). Thought we paid in full and was hit with that! Helpful host!

Great property, ideal as a great base

Thank you Marco for your advise and organisation prior to our arrival and on arrival. Great clean home for 3 nights with family and friends. Comfy accomodation only thing missing was a kettle!! Restaurant recommendation was super. Ate there every night. Amazing service and wonderful food at very reasonable price. Rome as alway was magical despite the rain. Thank you
