Villa Alaties is superbly located between two stunning beaches, each with their own taverna. With stunning views over the sea and sunsets to die for you really could not ask for a more idyllic setting.

Villa Alaties offers a colonial decor and feel, in addition being designed to blend into the traditional authentic architecture associated with the North of Cephalonia.

Halikeri is a peaceful hamlet with only a handful of luxury villas dotted around in private locations. Some of the best views in Kefalonia are from this location with amazing sunsets which can be enjoyed from the infinity swimming pool and balconies.

The villa is equipped with modern fittings and appliances to make your experience comfortable. The kitchen / living room downstairs looks onto the large luxury pool on one side and to an outdoor dining area, under a jasmine draped pergola on the other. There a four very good sized double bedrooms and three bathrooms.

It is only a 10-15 mins walk / under 5 mins drive to Agia Jerusalem beach and 20 mins walk to the cove of Alaties; both have excellent tavernas. The village of Maganos with tavernas, supermarket and green grocers is 5 mins away by car.

The picturesque port of Fiskardo is one of the most magical places in all of Greece. With its boutiques, restaurants, bank, cash points, supermarkets, post office, boat hire and diving school it is only a 10 mins drive from Villa Alaties. An evening visit to Fiskardo for a drink or a meal and a chance to people watch is an absolute must.

There is a medical centre at Vasilikades 15 mins drive away. We have a fantastic team who will ensure that your stay is as perfect as it can possibly be.

A beautiful villa with everything we needed and more. The communication was fantastic too. We would highly recommend this host and Villa and will hopefully be back. We had an amazing stay at Vila Alaties! The villa is beautiful, comfortable, and felt like home from day one. Our kids loved the pool! The IPS team, especially Nikos, Facillis, and the cleaning ladies was super friendly and helpful, just like almost everyone else we met on Kefalonia.We explored much of the island: Fiskardo, Drogarati Cave, Melissani Lake, Myrtos Beach, Assos, Alaties, Jerusalem, Foki, and Emblisi Beach. We went diving, snorkeled every day, took a boat trip to Ithaka, and even spotted dolphins!We would love to return another year — truly a perfect holiday!

Absolutely fantastic Villa. Immaculately presented and very clean. The owners thought of everything. Great location for two beautiful beaches. Amazing sunsets from the property. The owners communicated quickly and very helpful. Any queries were responded to very promptly. I would say your photos of your villa don’t do it justice at it looks quite small but in fact a very spacious villa! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Magical location and vllla

This was our second visit to Villa Alaties and it was as good as the first. The villa is all you could want - clean, comfortable beds and sitting area, well equipped kitchen and large tables for both indoor and outdoor eating. Very helpful people from IPS to ensure everything works well and an amazing welcome platter from the restaurant Picnic. Perfect holiday. and delicious wine to buy runs beeb

Well appointed villa

Lovely pool, well appointed kitchen, and great location in the wilder north of the island. We also appreciated the welcome lunch, lots of shade parasols, and local wine we could buy if required.

Perfect!

This was the perfect villa for us. It is very spacious, clean and well kept with good storage. A lovely pool with a view of the sea and in close proximity to lots of beautiful beaches and delicious restaurants.

glorious villa with sea view

We never wanted to leave this beautiful villa. it was very very comfortable with plenty of space, and a beautiful pool and a glorious view over the Ionian Sea. We could have stayed forever. The host was so helpful; when we had a flat tire in the evening, he helped us get it repaired that night. When we arrived there was food and wine waiting for us, which was enormously welcome after a very long day of travel.

Perfecte vakantie

Mooi verzorgd huis op een prachtige plek. Het zwembad is echt een pareltje. De aankomst was prima geregeld met de sleutel in de lockbox en met ( onverwachts!) heerlijke dingen in de koelkast, wat een verwennerij!!! We hebben genoten van de stranden, de zee, het huis, het uitzicht en Kefalonia, zo'n mooi groen eiland. We hadden prachtig weer: zonnig met een windje. Kortom een topvakantie!

Lovely Villa

This was a lovely villa, with 4 good sized bedrooms. We were a party of 7 adults and plenty of space to sit outside and in. Pool was great with lots of sun beds.

Amazing villa and views

My friends and I have been having villa holidays for 20 years in different places, but I can honestly say that this is one of the best! The villa is very well equipped, sparkling clean and very comfortable. It looks out to the sea and the sunsets are indeed the most memorable part of the day. We didn't intend to hire a car but the walk into Megganos for shopping was too much, in the heat, for the oldest member of our group, so we got one for a few days to visit Fiscardo. We could walk to the taverna at Alaties beach, but got a taxi back. We did walk both ways to Jerusalem beach, but the taverna there is not open in the evenings - delicious lunches though! Alltogether, a memorable holiday. Thank you.

Fantastic villa in gorgeous location

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Alaties. The pool and outdoor area is very welcoming on arrival. The pool could do with a little TLC but nothing major. The villa itself is well equipped and spacious. Has everything you need for a fantastic break. The platter on arrival was a fantastic touch and much appreciated. The location is brilliant with two lovely Tavernas very close by. I would suggest walking to Alati is not recommended if you have young children or struggle with mobility at all as it's very up and down, but the short drive and parking available makes it more than manageable. This villa is in a great location to visit the local area and I can honestly say we witnessed the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen - book your trip, you won't be disappointed.

Chalikeri Villa

Great villa. Location lovely for exploring the northern end of Kefalonia. Wonderful sunsets every evening overlooking the sea. Villa has a good sized pool. In need of a little care and attention in terms of paintwork that’s peeling a bit but didn’t detract. Lots of space for sunbeds. Very comfortable interior too. Light and bright and a peaceful setting. Lovely to hear the goat bells. Villa very close to Jerusalem beach, a quiet cove with sunbeds and a good restaurant behind. Also near to Alaties beach which is tiny set in the white volcanic rocks. There is an amazing restaurant there called Alatis. Phenomenal food and sunsets. Well worth a visit. We found the town of Magganos on the way towards Fiskardo the best place for a supermarket and also has good eateries at Picnic, Alia’s Yard especially. Makis at Vasilikades is another fun food place as is Vegerra Tavern with beautiful sea views out the back. Fiskardo is a lively port town with plenty of restaurants, but you will need to book ahead rather than just turn up. Clearly where the wealthy tourists like to go with their yachts. We rented a small boat for the day from Fiskardo boat hire. Fun day out visiting little coves and popping over to Ithaca. Worth doing. Villa also well placed for a drive down to Assos. Beautiful place with the Venetian Fort overlooking it that you can walk up to. Also visited Myrtos Beach and Chorgata Beach which featured in Captain Corelli’s Mandolin. All in all highly recommend this villa

Lovely villa very close to our two favourite beaches

The villa had all the space we needed, was very clean and we much appreciated the welcome platter of food and water and wine on our arrival as we arrived quite late. Well equipped kitchen and nice warm pool - great to have enough sun beds all in good working order and very nice beach towels. Ideally situated close to our favourite Jerusalem and Alaties beaches (where you can collect your own sea salt from the rock pools), with their wonderful restaurants. Tom was very quick to come back to us with all enquiries before we arrived and the managing agent out there was efficient and friendly also. We would have appreciated a once-weekly rather than twice-weekly clean but that’s a very small niggle. We loved staying there and strongly recommend. Thank you.

Relaxed retreat

This is a lovely villa, with brilliant sunset views, and easy access to Jerusalem and Alaties beaches. The villa is well equipped, and is very comfortable. Excellent if you want a relaxing break, you will need a car, the nearest taverna at Jerusalem beach is a half hour walk away, and it's all up hill on the way home! But if you are happy self catering in the evening, with a glass of wine watching the sunset, then this is the one for you.

Amazing!

Such an amazing place to stay, beautiful house, amazing area and fabulous welcome pack on arrival. It was those extra touches that made it all the better, having had a really delayed flight, to find a dinner pack waiting for us at the villa was such a dream! And mid-week cleaning, which I’ve never had. Area was lovely and so close to two amazing beach tavernas!!! All in all fabulous….

Great holiday in fantastic villa

We have just returned from an amazing week in this villa. The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed. All the bedrooms and living area were a good size and well equipped. But it was the outside and pool area that really made the holiday. Spending time relaxing around the pool and enjoying meals outside made for some very special times. The location is also perfect and although we hired cars, we could also walk to the 2 closest beaches too. ( as long as you don’t mind the uphill return!) Both had restaurants and we’d definitely recommend the Alaties taverna for amazing food, service and sunsets. A great villa to explore the unspoilt north of the island. Thank you to Tom for excellent communication from start to finish… we very much felt that he wanted us to have the best holiday! The service provided by the agency.. cleaning, pool maintenance and general repairs was also excellent. A perfect start to the summer, thank you.

Great stay, on a great island, in a great villa.

A lovely spot on Kefalonia. The house was very nice, and as expected from the information on Vrbo. The pool was great and the twice-a-week clean/refresh was welcome. Overall we had a great fortnight - thank you very much.
