Newlands - 2 Bedroom Lodge

Newlands Lodge is a compact and cosy loddge l offering comfortable and stylish accomodation for a lovely relaxed self-catered stay.

There is a sunken hot tub on the decking, which has a sunny aspect.

With full use of the holiday park faciliites, including tennis, fishing, walking and cycling. this lodge gives the perfect opportunity for a short break on our 5* star holiday park.

Only 8 miles from York, and less than 5 miles to the York Designer Outlet the holiday park is perfectly situated for easy access to the best of what Yorkshire has to offer.

And for even easier dining, Olivias tearoom at the entrance to the holiday park, couldn't be better for breakfast, or lunch and afternoon tea, which can be enjoyed with a glass of wine or a cool beer.


Hollicarrs is a quiet rural park, perfect for couples and families looking for a peaceful retreat. We do not accommodate Stag or Hen parties. Please do not book with us if you prefer wild nights to wildlife!

As a guest of the holiday lodge owner you will have access to all of the facilities that Hollicarrs Holiday Park has to offer:

Walking
There are nature trails in abundance at Hollicarrs. Whether you are looking for a gentle stroll, or a more energetic walk over a longer distance, walking trails have been carefully carved out among the trees around the lodge park, leading you through bluebell dells, primrose banks, past our bird hide to spot the wildlife and natural ponds teaming with life.

If you prefer to cover a couple of miles, why not walk through the woods to Skipwith Common Nature Reserve, a site of special scientific interest. This route takes you past the lovely Norman Church in Skipwith and the Drovers Arms is only a slight detour.

Tennis
The hard tennis court is flood lit enabling play throughout the year.

Fishing
The fishing lake at Hollicarrs is within easy walking distance of the lodge park and provides a sheltered, well stocked lake. Fishing platforms have been designed around the area for easy access including disabled areas for wheelchair users.

Bowling Green
A well maintained grass green for expert or beginners play.

Petanque Courts

The lodge was immaculate and beautifully decorated, and the park was so quiet and peaceful. There was so much wildlife around which was lovely to see, and having a hot tub was the icing on the cake. Olivia tearoom was gorgeous and had amazing food. Hollicars was the perfect place to have our mini moon.

Utterly relaxing, well maintained facilties and excellent location

We came for a weeks holiday with our two grown up children. Newlands Cabin was perfect for us and was immaculate on our arrival. The facilites were perfectly and regularly maintained, and all the staff could not have been more helpful. We played tennis and boules, went for plenty of walks, days out and noghts out, with a dip in the hot tub in the evenings. Absolutely idyllic.

Hollicarrs Holiday Park is part of the historic Escrick Park Estate, which has been in the same family for over 350 years. Its very much a family run business and all of our staff are an intergral part of keeping the Estate and the Holiday Park running smoothly.

Nature and conservation are of paramount importance to the Hollicarrs team, and you will see this for yourself the moment you step onto the holiday park. We have held the David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation since opening the park in 2005.

All holiday lodges are privately owned, and Hollicarrs acts as an agent for the sub-letting of lodges.
