Welcome to our beautiful Victorian Townhouse.

Located in the heart of the West End, our cool home is a fantastic place to stay to explore Glasgow with your small group of family/friends. Here, you are within walkable distance of many great places to visit and eat, and very near public transport routes. Our great location makes it easy for a group to get around together and without the need for a car.
We are happy to host small and responsible groups of 4-10 people.

We had yet another fantastic stay with Alexandra in her fully equipped, most comfortable house. Our 4th visit and we will be returning again. We love the house, the area and easy access to City Centre. Lots of lovely bars, cafes, restaurants and shops in the area, you don’t need to travel if you don’t want to. Our party just love Maya’s House

Traveled with 3 generations of family - house was fully equipped with everything we needed! Great location - right by the subway, close to a grocery store and no more than a 15 minute walk from everything in the area. Would stay again for sure!

Unreal house for a big group in the West End

The place is so nice. Massive, lovely decor, well stocked kitchen, superb location and impeccable service from the host and housekeeper.

Home away from home

This property was all we imagined it would be and more. Beautifully appointed and incredibly organized. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again next time we're in Glasgow.

We had another wonderful stay at Maya’s House, really comfortable house for 10 people, plenty of space, great for eating together. It’s in a prime spot with everything in the area, good food, bars and fresh produce.We truly love this house and we’ll be back

Cool House In Great Location

It was the first stop for 8 couples travelling together for 3 weeks and we were quite happy with the home. It was well equipped and we thought that the host providing some treats and supplies was quite thoughtful. Loved the area, went for a walk each morning and frequented an Italian Coffee Shop / Deli nearby. We ate at a local pub and the pizza restaurant around the corner. Also had a couple of pints at the In Deep pub a stone's throw away.Host was responsive and helpful with the parking arrangments.All in all, thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Would certainly recommend and would stay again if in Glasgow in the future.

Stunning property

Gorgeous house, beautifully decorated and in a fantastic location close to the subway. We had everything we could possibly need and Alex kindly supplied a generous hamper. We would all 100% recommend the property - we really felt we had hit gold! Thank you.

Beautiful place!

Alexandra was a lovely host. She had the kitchen stocked up with loads of food and drinks. The house was beautifully presented, very well decorated and we walked into music playing in the dining area and the fairy lights on. Good location too! Highly recommend.

Thoughtful host and excellent location

This property is in a wonderful location to explore Glasgow. The amenities at the house are high end and thoughtful. We loved the espresso machine, the delicious snacks that were waiting for us when we arrived, the comfortable beds, and the interesting artwork. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Beautiful, comfortable home in ideal neighborhood

This home was perfect for our three-generation family group visiting Glasgow. All the bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen is extremely well-stocked and the neighborhood was full of coffee shops, bakeries and great restaurants and shops. And Alexandra is such a wonderful host - the welcome basket is such a delight! Truly a thoughtfully and beautifully appointed home, can't recommend it highly enough.

The house was extremely comfortable and absolutely everything you could possibly need. Great area close to shops, restaurants, cafes and transportation bus and subway. 40th Wedding Anniversary Celebrations

Our stay was wonderful, the house is amazing and as we stayed here before, it of course, suited our needs. It is in an ideal situation with plenty bars and places to eat within walking distance. It is snuggled in, in a nice spot with limited traffic, honestly I could go on and on, it is fantastic, equipped for all your needs. Alex, the host goes way beyond with her luxurious welcome hamper and we received a bottle of fizz to start our celebrations, we can’t thank you enough. This is the second time we have used Maya’s House and it holds special memories for us all. Well Done Alex and Team, ❤️ Maya’s House.

Friendly Glasgow

Our group of 8 adults stayed two weeks and Home owner was very attentive and thoughtful. We were amazed to discover many food and drink items provided: very generous! Cleaning staff provided a thorough cleaning and bedding/towels were changed after first week. We totally loved the location, the ease of transportation and West End stores/restaurants. It was perfect for us and we highly recommend this property. Glaswegians are the most friendly and thoughtful people and we loved discovering the west, north and east of Scotland ❤️

Muir Wedding Party

We had a very enjoyable stay at Mayas House, this is a beautifully designed house, well equipped house with gorgeous quirky decor, a real treat to stay in. Alex the host goes way beyond expectations, with lovely gestures such as a delicious hamper, milk, butter, wine, mezzanine platter and the freshly baked bread was a big hit. We were a 7 strong party in Glasgow for a wedding and we had a great stay, in perfect location, with plenty space for us all to get ready in great comfort. I would strongly recommend this place to others and definitely we will be returning, we are looking at dates now 😉❤️

Three generation family trip of a lifetime

We are originally from the Glasgow area and emigrated many years ago. It was a very special trip to take my parents back to see our family and introduce my children to their Mum’s hometown. The townhouse is spectacular. If I could give it 10 stars out of 5, I would. It was spacious and comfortable. The host left us an unbelievably generous food basket. Truly amazing. I travel frequently for work and pleasure and have had th good fortune of staying in some lovely hotels around the world and this is right up there with those!

Family Christmas Reunion

A perfect place for us to base ourselves from Canada so we could spend Christmas and visit with our Scottish family and friends. The house was exactly as advertised; very spacious and enabled the 7 of us to have our own private space in addition to communal spaces for card games and socializing. Communication with Alex was first rate. The hosts were very generous with a welcoming gift basket and staples in the fridge, and the kitchen itself was very well equipped. We’ve done many VRBOs before and this was the best set up we’ve been provided with. The location is perfect for seeing the west end and also getting around (the subway is a 2 minute walk away, and motorways are close). Thanks so much - we had a great time!

Since settling down in Glasgow back in 2005, I have spent my time here creating spaces that would be homes away from home for people from everywhere. It is a truly fulfilling job, and I sincerely hope that you enjoy what we have put together for you.

Our house is located near all the action but far enough that is it also a quiet place to rest in between exploring again. There are not many original Victorian Townhouses remaining that have not been modified into apartments and such. We are lucky to be the keepers of this lovely space and even luckier to be able to share it with the world.
