Beautifully restored romantic apartment in the centre of historic Dolcedo

A renovated apartment with original features in a historic palazzo. With many original architectural features such as vaulted ceilings but with modern amenities including a brand new kitchen and bathroom. The apartment is perfect for a couple or a family with one child, or even three adults. There is a courtyard outside the door which could have a table and chairs. There is a large free car park less than 50 metres away which always has spaces. Perfectly situated for great walks and there is an excellent choice of restaurants, bars and pizzerias close by. The sea is a 10 minute drive. Ideal for cyclists with Europe's longest coastal cycle path a short distance away. Hikers will love the mountain walks with spectacular views. Wir hatten zu Dritt einen Wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dem geräumigen zwei Zimmer Appartement mit Blick über Dolcedo (aus dem Fenster der Wohnküche). Ralph ist außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben jeden Tag im Schatten des überdachten Eingangs gesessen, gefrühstückt und gegessen. Dieser Platz ist allerdings recht klein und geht auf die Straße. Für uns trotzdem herrlich. Insgesamt Perfekt für ein Pärchen.Im übrigen ist Dolcedo sehr schön, erlaubt Baden im Fluss und ist ein perfekter Startpunkt für Ausflüge. 15 Autominuten bis zum Meer.

Einfach wunderschön

Die Ferienwohnung ist außergewöhnlich, zum Wohlfühlen und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Sie befindet sich in Toplage. Der Gastgeber ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Checkin und Checkout waren problemlos. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

In the centre of Dolcedo

It was really nice. We were in the centre of the nice town of Dolcedo with many good restaurants. Hiking paths started right in Dolcedo. Ralph gave us very helpful information. The apartment was perfect for two persons.

Sweet place in dolcedo

A lovely little place in the centre of dolcedo which is a beautiful village with several restaurants and a great vibe. Ralph was a very friendly and helpful host and we had no issues during our stay. Overall a great spot.

Appartement très bien situé dans le village de Dolcedo, parfaitement propre et rénové, au calme. Idéal pour 2 personnes. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et recommandons sans réserve. Hôte très accueillant et sympathique, prêt à répondre à toutes nos questions. La situation géographique de ce village est parfaite, permet de visiter l'arrière-pays ou la côte.

Schlafzimmer und Küche/Wohnen sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, viele schöne Bilder von diversen Künstlern an den Wänden. Einziger Nachteil, kein Balkon. Der Gastgeber Ralph war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Good flat for 2 people. Was there a week. Wanted to stay longer. Dolcedo good for eating and hiking

Ralph is een topper👏🏼

Wij zijn een weekje in dit fijne appartement geweest. Het is er erg schoon en ligt midden in het dorp. Ralph de eigenaar is een topper, hij liet ons meteen thuis voelen. Hij gaf leuke tips over de omgeving. Een aanrader!!

Beautiful Apartment in a charming town

The apartment was equipped with everything we needed and really beautifully furnished. It's located in the center of Dolcedo, so restaurants and little shops are nearby. Service was perfect! Ralph was reachable at all times and provided helpful information about restaurants and sights around Dolcedo. All together a wonderful place with lovely hosts!

Prachtig Dolcedo!

Het appartement is centraal gelegen in het hart van Dolcedo. Diverse restaurants op loopafstand. In de omgeving genoeg te beleven. De eigenaar heeft ons leuke tips gegeven. Het appartement is ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Vriendelijke eigenaar! We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad!

Sehr schöner Kurzurlaub

Wir haben kurzfristig beschlossen, in diese Gegend zu fahren, um dem Alltag für ein paar Tage zu entfliehen. Die Ferienwohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen, sie ist mit allem nötigen ausgestattet. Wir hatten das Vorrecht, die ersten Gäste zu sein. Ralph hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns alles erklärt. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Lage gefällt uns sehr gut, im Ort gibt es einen Lebensmittelladen, einen Bäcker und Metzger. Abend hat es einige Wirtschaften, die man zu Fuß erreichen kann. Dort wird ligurische Küche angeboten, uns schmeckte es sehr gut. Allerdings sollte man vorab reservieren. Zum Meer kommt man schnell mit dem Auto. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Hi, I'm Ralph Kessler and I have lived in Italy for 15 years and work as a teacher. I speak Italian and German but my German could be better! My partner Gill speaks French & Spanish so we can help you with most language difficulties. I have managed my friends rental apartment for many years and so I'm experienced in helping guests to have an enjoyable stress free time. Customer satisfaction is very important to me and I'll work hard to make sure everything goes well for you during your stay in Dolcedo.

This property is part of an old 'palazzo' and has so many original features. The original vaulted ceilings are really impressive and cool the apartment naturally in the summer. The walls are very thick stone and so it feels private, no noisy neighbours and no thin walls. Inside it is peaceful and airy but just a few steps away is the popular little town of Dolcedo. The apartment is old but everything inside is new and really clean and nice. We have just finished a complete renovation and I'm very proud of the results. The town is authentic Italy and there is no 'tourist trap' here. Prices are good with coffee costing 1 euro and cappuccino less than €1.50. You can eat and drink well here, al fresco of course, and at reasonable prices. A few kilometres away is the provincial capital Imperia with every amenity including Michelin starred restaurants if you want something very special. I chose this property for its charm, character and romance. I look forward to welcoming guests who would like to share the dream.

Wonderful apartment, historic and atmospheric but also modern and super clean!
Great countryside, easy access to the sea, many well priced and good quality restaurants and pizzerias.
A quick story: Years ago I visited the 'Cinque Terre' with my brother. It is a very beautiful place but I was disappointed because we had to pay to walk through the olive groves and over crowded mountain walkways with thousands of tourists. I thought 'back in Dolcedo I get this for free with a lot less overcrowding.'
Dolcedo is a special place and our charming apartment is at its heart!
