Beautifully restored romantic apartment in the centre of historic Dolcedo

Hi, I'm Ralph Kessler and I have lived in Italy for 15 years and work as a teacher. I speak Italian and German but my German could be better! My partner Gill speaks French & Spanish so we can help you with most language difficulties. I have managed my friends rental apartment for many years and so I'm experienced in helping guests to have an enjoyable stress free time. This property is part of an old 'palazzo' and has so many original features. The original vaulted ceilings are really impressive and cool the apartment naturally in the summer. The walls are very thick stone and so it feels private, no noisy neighbours and no thin walls. Inside it is peaceful and airy but just a few steps away is the popular little town of Dolcedo. The apartment is old but everything inside is new and really clean and nice. We have just finished a complete renovation and I'm very proud of the results. The town is authentic Italy and there is no 'tourist trap' here. Prices are good with coffee costing 1 euro and cappuccino less than €1.50. You can eat and drink well here, al fresco of course, and at reasonable prices. A few kilometres away is the provincial capital Imperia with every amenity including Michelin starred restaurants if you want something very special. I chose this property for its charm, character and romance. I look forward to welcoming guests who would like to share the dream.
