The apartment was very luxurious and clean. Exactly as pictures show, even better!!! Glitter Bay is the perfect location for a holiday in Barbados - the location allows easy access to nearby beaches, shopping and bars and restaurants. All of the information Livia left was also incredible helpful and we used lots of her recommendations.

Great location, spacious condo, beautiful patio

We loved our quick getaway to Ocean Blue at Glitter Bay. The condo is nicely furnished with two spacious bedrooms. The outdoor patio area is so comfortable and relaxing with a great view of the sunset. It’s a short 1.5km walk into Holetown where the Massy grocery store is, shopping and restaurants. Our only negative is having to leave this gorgeous place!

Wonderful week in Glitter Bay!

We had a wonderful stay in Ocean Blue & wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and/or recommend it for anyone looking for upscale accommodations. The property is beautiful & is exactly as pictured; we really enjoyed spending time out on the balcony - the view is even more gorgeous in person. We watched a movie out there on the wall mounted TV one evening (thanks to the mosquito netting we were able to wrap around the sofa the bugs weren't a bother). We slept great the entire week & appreciated that the blackout curtains & shutters enabled us to keep the bedrooms fairly dark. We also appreciated the extra touches such as soaps, shampoos, and detergent (but bring your own lotion)! There are books & the kitchen is well stocked. Livia was very responsive & helped arrange transportation from the airport to the property - she also helped arrange for a few staples to be delivered. There are currently a few kittens on the property (this is true almost everywhere we've stayed in the Caribbean); if possible (and if you are an animal lover), pack a few bags of cat food and/or arrange for Sarah (responsible for the groceries) to include that in your staples. (The beach chair situation is like everyone has already mentioned - Rocky will set you up your first day with your chairs for the week. If you don't get chairs in the front, let him know of your preference & he will try and switch you during your time there when something opens up). We hope to be back soon!
