We had an excellent stay at fox cover cottage.

We had an excellent stay at fox cover cottage. Has everything we needed, the pool and tennis court was a bonus and very much used throughout our stay! Thanks we will be back 🥰

We are two friends in their 40s with three little kids and this was a perfect base for a week at hal

We are two friends in their 40s with three little kids and this was a perfect base for a week at half term.The cottage itself was gorgeous - immaculately clean and well appointed. A private, secure garden was a bonus (with lovely little wooded area to stomp through) as well as having 3 bathrooms. The kids loved the very warm swimming pool which we had to ourselves every time we used it.Helmsley Castle and the pretty town of Helmsley were on the doorstep. Thirsk with its fab sculpture park also close. Do not recommend the traipse to York but Whitby / Robin Hood’s Bay very do-able.Would both recommend and stay again!

This is a really wonderful property.

This is a really wonderful property. The cottage is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Having three bathrooms is an absolute luxury. We loved the swimming pool and were in there every day. The owners are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, just a short drive from many beautiful and historic places of interest. We visited Pickering, Sutton Bank and the Ryedale Folk Museum, and would thoroughly recommend all three. We wished we'd booked for the week not just a long weekend!
