Good place for a short stay - but not perfect
The apartment is pretty good. Clean sheets and towels, clean bathroom so the essentials are fine. Very large space. The wifi is good too.
The floors, corners, "hard to reach places", etc were not very clean. Overall, reasonably comfortable for a weekend stay. I especially like the basement, it's a great space to hang out! The kitchen works too but be sure to buy EVERYTHING you need as the only thing you get is a shot-glass size bottle of dish soap.
The apartment is on the ground floor, so you can expect some noise from both upstairs, the street and the yard because the trash cans are right outside the door. We also heard construction while we were there. Don't expect a quiet stay.
The check-in is weird. You have to go to the Stazione Centrale di Milano to pick up your keys from an office. Not the most comfortable way but thankfully they let us check in early - a big plus!
I like the space but I would not stay here again. The neighborhood is really unpleasant and pretty inconvenient. Regarding the neighborhood: Although this has nothing to do with inside of the apartment, the building itself is in a pretty nasty area. Let's say the nearby shops don't employ the nicest people. There are buses right outside but the nearest metro is at least a 10 min walk but a short ride to the areas you should visit while in Milan. I'd love to take this apartment and move it to a better area. If you've ever been to the US, you'd say this is the "hood". It reminded me of living in the Bronx and not in a good way.
