Amenities: Night storage heating with open fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, air fryer, fridge, washer/dryer, 1 smart x TV, 1 TV, DVD Player, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Private parking for one car. Use of communal gardens. Bed linen and towels NOT inc. in rent. Sorry, no pets and no smoking.

Town: Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. Only ten minutes drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike. There is ample parking at the top of the village.

Spectacular views

Travelling on my own from Australia, I stayed at this property for 5 nights late November. I’m not sure that I understood that the apartment was in a large house and when I went inside there was a staircase leading up into the house with the flat to the right. I was a little taken back as I wasn’t sure if I was alone or if there were other occupants. As solo women traveller this was a little off putting for me. The accommodation however is warm, comfortable and clean and I would highly recommend it for two people. It has everything you need and Port Isaac is spectacular.
