we have recently refurbished this three double bedroom period house with large reception room off street parking and newly fitted kitchen/ breakfast room. The upstairs has three bedrooms one with master and en suite and a further family bathroom. There is a private garden to the rear, with patio and bbq for those lovely summer evenings by the river .

Niet schoon(er zaten nog verpakkingsresten tegen de achterwant van de koelkast vastgevroven,) Vriezer met veel ijsvorming.Keukenkasten met stof en kruidenresten, broodkruimels op de grond en aanrecht. Pan met resten van vet in de keukenla, Huis ruikt naar muf, versleten meubels. Geen goed ventilatie in badkamer. Er zaten ook schimmelplekken. Na het douchen merkt ik op dat de slaapkamer ramen helemaal beslagen waren. Plinten en vensterbanken vol met stof en spinneweben. Deur van de badkamer niet afgemaakt deur klemde. Deze kon ook niet dicht. Ik wilde graag bloemen kopen, toen ik de vaas alvast wilde pakken zag ik dat de bladeren van de vorige bos bloemen nog aan de zijkanten zaten vastgeplakt.Ik kon niet wachten om naar huis te gaan ik heb de dagen afgetelt. Je betaald veel geld en dan zon teleurstelling. Niet verwacht.Zon aardige mensen. Het contrast kon niet groter. Kleine meubels met een zeer slordig likje verf erop gesmeerd.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely, traditional French house. The property is full of character and perfectly located, with stunning views over the River Rance. There’s a charming local beach just a short walk away, where swimming at low tide was a real highlight.The house is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area – with St Malo, Dinan, and Mont Saint-Michel all within easy reach. Check-in was straightforward, and the house was well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.We especially enjoyed relaxing in the enclosed rear garden, which catches the evening sun – the perfect spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. A wonderful place to stay, and we’d happily return!

Schönes altes Fischerhaus an der Rance

Altes, antik eingerichtetes Fischerhaus mit Garten und 3 Schlafzimmern und schönem Blick auf die Rance in dem Weiler Mordreuc gelegen. 100 m zum Strand der Rance..Wir waren mit den Rädern unterwegs und es gab schöne Strecken nach Saint Malo, Dinan und Dinard. Eine schöne Ecke der Bretagne.Die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Der Kontakt war problemlos. Wir haben dort eine schöne Woche verbracht.

We had a really lovely stay. Sarah was brilliant and very responsive to any queries. There was slight confusion caused by the listing mentioning a hot tub, which there wasn’t but it didn’t affect the stay at all. The location is excellent and you can walk to a small beach which was great for my little girl. Really easy to drive to Dinard, Dinan and St Malo. Would highly recommend.

Premières vacances en Bretagne

Le site était complètement dépaysant, belle maison avec tous le confort. On regrette de ne pas avoir eu d'essoreuse à salade ni de couteau à huîtres... Mais ça nous a permis de faire connaissance avec les voisins. La plage en bas de la rue était une très bonne surprise. La librairie café en face de la maison était sympa aussi. Nous avons visiter Cancale, st Malo à 30 min et le Mont St Michel à 45 minutes. C'était parfait.

Lovely house in a beautiful location

A pleasant, spacious property; traditionally furnished. The shower rooms and kitchen were clean and modern. A garden to relax in with outdoor furniture. The house is set on a little road in a very peaceful spot, just a stone’s throw from the little quay and the cafe. Nice walks along the river and an easy walk into Pleudihen-sur-Rance for bread and supermarket (or a very quick drive!). Easy drive to the Old Port at Dinan where there are lots of restaurants and again nice walks along the river. Elaine and John made us feel very welcome.

Spacieuse maison des bords de Rance

Une maison ancienne très spacieuse et plutôt agréable dans un village au bord de la Rance. À cent mètres, la cale, la plage sur le fleuve et un café. La déco est plutôt vieillotte et les matelas sont affreusement mous: dommage. Nous n’avons eu aucun échange personnel avec les propriétaires: dommage.

Entspannter Urlaub in rustikalem Haus

Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Das Haus ist in einer wunderbaren Lage in einem kleinen Dorf am Wasser. Kleiner Stand in der Nähe, herrlicher Blick aus dem Fenster, Garten und Terrasse zum gemütlichen draußen Sitzen. Die Eltern der Vermieterin wohnen in der Nähe und waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie Bäder waren neu und das Haus groß und gut geschnitten. Die Einrichtung ist inzwischen stellenweise in die Jahre gekommen.

Tres calme

The house is so peaceful - a very relaxing location. The nearby restaurant is very good. Wish we'd realised there was a beach so near! The owner and her mother (who lives very near) were extremely accommodating. Would definitely consider returning if we visit Brittany again

Cosy et au calme

Très jolie maison, cosy et au calme au bord de la Rance. La maison est spacieuse et bien équipée. Le hameau de Mordreuc est un bel ensemble de maison en pierre, avec beaucoup de cachet. Le petit café restaurant à deux pas est une bonne adresse pour dîner. Je reviendrai sans hésiter !

Wonderful house, wonderful location

The house is gorgeous - bigger than we expected from the pictures and kitted out with everything we needed. We didn’t mind having to spend time indoors due to the rain! The village of Mordreuc is very pretty to walk around, and shops etc are only a short drive away. Would happily stay here again!

Location agréable

Une location au calme dans un lieu permettant de visiter les alentours facilement (Dinan, Le Mont Saint Michel, Saint Malo, Dinard...). La maison est bien équipée, le jardin permet de se poser tranquillement.

Rural France at its best

Quiet location and well equipped with lots of space. Short drive to boulangerie but good restaurant overlooking the Rance a few minutes walk away. Convenient to visit lots of interesting places.

Quiet village on river edge.

A lovely quiet location. Old French house but clean and with modern bathrooms and kitchen. Nice garden and the bonus of being a couple of hundred metres from a lovely river beach. One incorrect description of the number of bathrooms. The web site mentions 4 bathrooms with showers. In fact, there are just 2 bathrooms with showers and a separate WC in the utility. Otherwise a very pleasant relaxing spot for a holiday

Belle maison typique récemment rénovée

Résidence avec de beaux volumes au calme tout en étant proche des principaux sites touristiques. Absence de télévision sinon très bien équipée. Trois chambres et jardin avec place de parking.

Cosy and calm

Charming house, newly renovated, close to the beach. The flourished garden and the BBQ made our holidays very pleasant. We have appreciated the contact with the owner. We will recommand it.

Vacation experience as you want it

Already communication with the landlord prior to booking was prompt. The welcome with key hand over etc. was very friendly and uncomplicated. The house is fully equipped and in very good condition since it was just refurbished. The kitchen had more than sufficient tools. We especially liked it with its dining table making provision very simple. The riverside is close in a minute walking distance. There is an excellent bakery in Pleudihan-sur-Rance. And also a express carrefour. Attractions such as Mont St.Michel, St.Malo, many scenic places easy to reach. Thus we (2 adults, 3 teenagers) had a very pleasant stay. We would book again. 5 stars.
