An incredible place to stay

Our family of 3, including a 15 year old boy, found this home to be clean, comfortable, stunningly beautiful and incredibly relaxing. If you love privacy and renting a vacation home that is of stunning and unique architecture, this is the place for you. Camilla and her family are very gracious to share this special place by the sea. She helped reserve a restaurant for my wife and I to celebrate our 30yr wedding anniversary and the food was amazing and the staff treated us like a family friend.

Steps

The view and property were incredible. Unfortunately, there was no mention of the curving, twisting 44 steps going down to the home. We are in our 60's and 70's and this put a huge damper on our stay.

Absolutely Stunning!

Let me start by saying Camilla was an exceptional host. She went above and beyond to help my daughter and I with whatever we needed from recommendations to making reservations at a vineyard and restaurant on the water. Sending a big thank you to her. The property and house are a dream. Something out of a seclude getaway movie. We fell asleep to the sounds of the ocean waves. We only spent 2 nights at this beautiful property due to our multi-town itinerary. If we had to do it again I would stay here and plan day trips to the other cities/towns. I will say it has lots of steps to get down to the house so pack light. Regardless, it was worth it and hope to stay again and again.

Traumhafte Lage und excellente Vermieterin

Außergewöhnliche Lage direkt am Meer mit Blick auf Sonnenuntergang von den Terrassen. Camilla kümmert sich um alles: Restaurant (Empfehlungen, Reservierungen), tägliche Brötchenlieferung auf Wunsch, Tipps für Umgebung (Weingüter, Sehenswürdigkeiten) Ausstattung des Hauses lässt keine Wünsche offen. Überall ist Mückenschutz angebracht Camilla und ihr Haus sind perfekt! Anmerkungen: -Enge Treppen zum Haus -Unbedingt Mückenschutz für draußen mitbringen -Badeschuhe sind empfehlenswert @Camilla: herzlichen Dank für die super Betreuung, Wiederholung sehr wahrscheinlich

Fabulous coastal stay

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property on the water. It exceeded our expectations. Stunning views, sparking clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for those wishing to cook. Camilla, the villa contact, was incredible. She provided us recommendations for many things and all were outstanding.

sehr schönes Haus direkt am Meer

Eigentlich müsste ich 6 Sterne vergeben. Es hat alles gepasst. Direkter Meerzugang. Ruhe und nur das Meeresrauschen. Jeden Abend direkter Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Moderne Wohnung mit allem was man braucht. Zwei Bäder. Wein steht bereit. Camilla hat uns sehr zuvorkommend mit allem sehr geholfen und z.B. eine Weinprobe in Bolgheri organisiert. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder :-)

Spektakulär gelegen

Das Grundstück erstreckt sich über mehrere Ebenen von oben auf Steilküste bis direkt ans Wasser. Von jeder Terrasse aus bieten sich spektakuläre Blicke auf das offene Meer. Die Sonnenuntergänge am Abend sind der absolute Höhepunkt des Tages. Das Haus ist in den Fels gebaut, liebevoll und modern eingerichtet und hat zwei schöne Schlafzimmer, wovon eins besonders groß ist. Camilla, die Vermieterin, ist jederzeit ansprechbar, hilfsbereit und wohnt in direkter Nähe ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Unser Urlaub war rückblickend wie aus dem Bilderbuch!

Perfect hideaway

We just came backe from our one week stay and it was just perfect. We were looking for a secluded place with direct sea access and got exactly that. In addition the setup of the place is just perfect: there are several terraces, one for pool and deck chairs, one for outside dining / apero, a rooftop terrace and you always find shade to enjoy staying outside without getting burnt. Sea access requires water shoes (was indicated by the host upfront), but very well manageable for us (two adults, two teenagers). We brought our snorkeling gear and enjoyed the crystal clear water and sea life. The house itself is designed very clean, equipped with everything you might think of, bathrooms, kitchen and bedrooms seem to be renovated not too long ago and look really nice and clean and modern. Camilla is the perfect host, we got recommendations for field trips (not that you have to do field trips if staying in this perfect hideaway :-)), grocery shopping, dinner places (and hands on support for reservations, as our Italian skills are very limited). One point for people driving big cars: you might find the gate / driveway quite narrow. Our car is 1.96m wide and it was a little bit of a thrill to get in and out, but we managed :-). Long story short: perfect place for people able to master stairs and are good swimmers looking for a quiet stay

Fantastic place on the Ligurian Sea

This property is beautiful. The interior has everything you need. The views from the master bedroom and living room are amazing. I particularly enjoyed walking up and down the steps from the rental house to the sea. Not far from Castiglioncello where there are groceries, restaurants, a castle, and more. Great place and would love to rent the property again. It was perfect for a quiet getaway where I could read and write.

Traumhaft!

Den Sonnenuntergang direkt vor der Haustüre - wo sonst gibt's das!! Einfach nur traumhaft. Die Wohnung ist komplett neuwertig, geschmackvoll und wunderschön eingerichtet. 2 tolle Zimmer und ein ausziehbares Sofa. Die Küche ist sehr funktionell eingerichtet und bietet alles, was es so braucht. Der absolute Wahnsinn ist das Meer, das einem zu Füssen liegt. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön in den Fels eingebaut und die Gartenanlage auf verschiedene Etagen aufgeteilt. 1 Stock tiefer findet man tolle Sonnenliegen und ein kleiner Pool. Direkt darunter liegt eine (gut zugänglich) das Meer zu Füssen. Unser Tageshighlight: der Sonnenuntergang mit einem Glas Prosecco :-). Wir haben die Ruhe, das Meerrauschen und die Privatsphäre sehr genossen. Camilla ist eine sehr tolle Gastgeberin. Ein kurzes SMS und die Restaurant- oder Ausflugstipps folgen prompt. Danke Camilla für dein super Service.

Traumhafte Lage

Das wunderschöne Haus liegt in der Steilküste mit einem traumhaften Blick über das direkt unterhalb liegende Meer. Die ca 50 m oberhalb verlaufende Via Aurelia hört man überhaupt nicht, nur das Rauschen des Meeres, Das Haus ist neu und sehr gepflegt mit 2 Schlafzimmern und zwei modernen Bädern mit exklusiver Einrichtung. Auf der nicht einsehbaren überdachten Terrasse lässt sich auch Ende September noch wunderbar frühstücken. Nochmals eine "Etage" tiefer ist eine weitere Terrasse zur Alleinnutzung mit Liegen und großem Sonnenschirm. Hier ist auch der Pool untergebracht, der zur Abkühlung dient; zum Schwimmen ist er zu klein, aber man kann bei ruhigem Wetter über Stufen direkt zum Wasser absteigen und im Meer baden. Hervorzuheben ist auch die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeberin, die in der Nähe wohnt. Die Empfehlungen für Restaurants waren hervorragend. Selbst um die Reservierung brauchte man sich nicht zu kümmern. Camilla die Gastgeberin, die auch perfekt englisch spricht, erledigte das gerne.
