Church Cottage is an idyllic Cotswold retreat nestled in the picturesque market town of Chipping Campden.

Sleeping up to 4 guests in two separate bedrooms, one en-suite and one main bathroom, Church Cottage is the perfect base for friends and family exploring the Cotswolds.

The cottage itself boasts characterful charm with exposed beams and a stunning Cotswold stone fireplace with a wood burning stove which is situated in the main living area. These period touches have been complemented by modern facilities which include complementary Wi-fi, a smart TV and a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher. The master bedroom has a King Size bed with an en-suite shower and wc. The second bedroom has a double bed ( only accessible from one side ) The bathroom has a bath with shower over and wc.

For the warmer months the cottage opens out into a beautiful terrace garden overlooking St James church steeped in 15th century history.

Only a 2 minute walk onto the main high street, the cottage is ideally located for exploring the many independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants that the town has to offer as well as being nestled between some of the famous Cotswold rolling hills.

Lovely cottage very well placed in the town close to everything excellent pub nearby serving fantastic food. We had a wonderful weekend here in this cottage everything was available including firewood will definitely book again

Loved the Church Cottage. The town was beautiful too - the *only* negative is that the Cottage is on a very busy road with some high speed traffic. Still recommend the location but be careful walking around the property.

We really enjoyed our stay in Chipping Campden. The cottage was great; clean, tidy and well equipped. It was very central but with added bonus of proximity to the church and peregrine falcons. It was very exciting seeing them!

Cotswold Delight

We traveled Scotland, Ireland and England for a 14 day visit. This stay at Church Cottage was by far our favorite. It was perfect!! Very clean, quiet, and perfect location. Would highly recommend !!

Absolutely lovely cottage in a picturesque village. Terrific hiking around the area. Easy access to Stratford for Shakespeare.

Charming and delightful cottage, excellent location

This was our second time staying so we knew what to expect. We stayed for a week and was perfect in all respects, the cottage is quirky and charming but has all modern facilities and plenty of space for two people. Location is excellent as only a short walk to the High Street. Next time we're in in Chipping Campden we would not hesitate to stay again

The best comfy cottage!

This was our favorite rental during a 3 1/2 week vacation. The owners renovated it beautifully with all of the comforts one needs. It's in a great location with easy walking to downtown Chipping Campden. We highly recommend that you stay there.

Better then the pictures-perfect location & charming!

This cottage is exactly where you want to stay in the Cotswolds! Chipping Camden is a perfect location with cute shops & great restaurants! The cottage is cuter then the pictures-and everything you need is there-even laundry, minus a hairdryer.

Church Cottage is a beautiful cosy cottage on the edge of a bustling town, ideal for walking in the countryside with plenty of local, walkable places to eat. We thoroughly enjoyed our short 3-night stay. The cottage had every amenity to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Lovely little cottage in great location

Spent a great weekend in this lovely (and warm) cottage. Beautifully clean and very well appointed with all mod cons. Location excellent in easy walking distance of pubs and shops. Check out the Sunday lunch in the Lygon Arms - both the food and the staff were excellent. If visiting nearby Broadway, would highly recommend popping into the Gordon Russell Design Museum

Charming Cottage

We had a such a wonderful time staying at the Church Cottage in Chipping Camden. The cottage was as represented, with lovely furnishings, a well stocked kitchen with everything we needed to feel at home. Lots of restaurants and shops in easy walking distance.

Really lovely cottage

Couldn’t have been better maintained and fitted out. A beautiful property, great bedding, good location, clean and welcoming, with a big basket of snacks on the table and milk in the fridge.

Perfect location

I chose this cottage pretty randomly and feel like I totally lucked out! Cozy, clean, and well appointed. Chipping Campden is the perfect town if you want a bit of quiet but plenty of restaurants etc. a memorable trip!

A gorgeous cottage, home away from home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Church Cottage in June 2023. It’s a lovely mix of homeliness, luxury, comfort and relaxed vibes. The kitchen is fantastically appointed with everything you could need, bedrooms are very comfortable, lounge with fireplace is fab, and check-in was super easy. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Perfect in every way

We were so excited to arrive at church cottage, it was everything I was imagining it would be. The cottage was well equipped and clean. We loved sitting outside at the end of the day relaxing in the yard. The area around us had some nice restaurants and a grocery store. We had a blast and would likely return if the opportunity presents itself! We didn’t want to leave!

Beautiful cottage in the Cotswolds

We stayed at Church Cottage last July (2022) and couldn't have been happier. The cottage was all that we dreamed of with a perfect location. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home with a wonderful living space on the first floor complete with a modern kitchen. The bedrooms were a great size and both bathrooms were great. There is a beautiful garden out back where you can sit and relax on a nice evening. The walk to town was short and there were many restaurants and shops to enjoy. The hosts were wonderful and responded quickly when we had a question.

Home from Home

The cottage was really comfortable (lovely beds and towels) and tastefully decorated. Excellent location with lots on the doorstep but not noisy- except for the church bells which chimed on the hour even through the night. However, after the first night, we didn’t notice the bells. We appreciated the nice touches like the coffee machine and milk when we arrived. Chipping Campden is our new favourite place and in such a good location for discovering other nearby beautiful and interesting places.

Perfect cute Cotswolds cottage for 4 that looks exactly like the pictures on VRBO

After exploring the area each day so lovely to come back to a warm comfy character cottage that had all the mod cons and very comfortable beds . Enjoyed the real fire one wet evening. Cottage perfect for walking around chipping campden. No real downside just the street around a little busy especially at school times but cottages has such thick walls you weren’t really aware of Traffic. Ravens in the trees around cottage could be a little noisy . Overall a truly enjoyable stay at Church Cottage ,

Sweet & comfy Costwold cottage

We stayed for a long weekend at the Church Cottage in Chipping Campden in late April. The cottage is very well appointed - fully stocked kitchen (we appreciated the coffee and tea supplies) and the beds are very comfortable. We were also able to enjoy the back garden for cocktails one evening and even lit a fire in the wood stove inside. It has all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay - washer/dryer, iron, hairdryer, wifi, smart TV, and the biggest most fluffy bath towels! It was lovely to hear the church bells. We apparently were there during crow-nesting season so they were a bit loud during the day. The town was so charming that we changed our sightseeing plans for the day to just enjoy the cottage and Chipping Campden. Highly recommend the Church Cottage for a delightful stay in the Cotswolds and I hope to return someday!

A dream come true in the Cotwolds

I’ve always had a dream of staying in a cottage in the Cotswolds. This November, through Welly boot cottages, my dream came true. From the moment we pulled into Chipping Campden, The world just melted away. As we located the church cottage, it was exactly as it was pictured. The charming cottage, tastefully decorated, welcomed us immediately. All amenities from the kitchen to the bedrooms was perfect. We started a fire in the fire stove, poured ourselves, a glass of wine, and just relished in the serenity of our surroundings for the next six days. We wanted for nothing and can’t wait to plan our return. Thank you for sharing your charming cottage with us!
