We have lived in Neffiès since 2007 and spent several years restoring L'Olivier. It is unusual for a village house in that it is very light and has a dining terrace with great views as well as a courtyard with BBQ. There is a modern fitted kitchen and dining area as well as a living room with wood-burner for winter nights. There is also a private garage and separate laundry area. There are two bedrooms one with a 160cm King bed and the other with two singles which can be put together to make a super king. As an old house guests need to be aware that the ceiling height in parts of the bedrooms is low.

Our previous guests have found Neffies and L'Olivier a great base for exploring the region by car and cycle. There is excellent walking direct from the village. We are also lucky in having two restaurants, a tapas bar, and boulangerie in the village. Please do note that our TV is via wifi and receives only French stations. We also have an internet radio, CD/MP3 player and a DVD player with 40inch screen..

We had a lovely 4 days in this beautiful part of the world. David and Brenda provided everything we needed in the villa and having 2 lovely restaurants so close was a bonus. would definitely recommend a stay in this part of the world and in particular Neffies.

Das Haus war perfekt ausgestattet, modern und gleichzeitig sehr gemütlich. Ein Highlight war die integrierte Garage für unseren Oldtimer. Die Lage des Hauses war optimal für Ausflüge in die sehr vielfältige Umgebung. David und Brenda waren sehr sympathische Gastgeber und wir würden das Haus wieder buchen.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans cette maison , confortable et bien agencée, avec le garage en rez-de-chaussée de chaussée donnant un espace supplémentaire . Tout est fonctionnel et pratique aménagé avec soins - l'accès à l'étage se fait par un escalier un peu étroit ; c'est le seul reproche à faire

La location correspond tout à fait à l’offre proposée

La location est très agréable, bien équipée avec une vue sur la vallée reposante. Les propriétaires conviviales et chaleureux. La description du bien immobilier et l’ensemble des conseils apportés sont de très bon niveaux. Nous aurons plaisir à y revenir et à le recommander. Merci à D et B d’avoir contribué à notre séjour si agréable dans cette région.

A beautiful authentic village house in the most delightful surroundings

This property has wonderfully responsive and friendly Owners. Absolutely nothing was too much. This village home, as that was what we considered it to be, is a real home from home. It is fully furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly need plus easy access to a garage for safe parking. The house has been beautifully renovated and was spotlessly clean and we appreciated the bottle of rose chilling from the local cave on arrival. There is no better place to dine than on the terrace of L’Olivier looking over the stunning views and hills of the peaceful village of Neffiès and beyond. The views are truly exceptional. The house is within a short walk of the local boulangerie, two delightful restaurants and a bar in the Village. There are also some amazing hiking routes near by. The super market is just a few minutes drive away. All local information is detailed in a very comprehensive guide prepared by the Owners. In terms of improvement I really cannot think of anything; it met and exceeded our expectations in every way. We genuinely felt we had got away from it all, enjoyed a small part of village life and had a relaxing time. We highly recommend L’Olivier to anyone lucky enough to be visiting this beautiful part of the world.

We are now retired and spend as much time as we are able in Neffiès. We fell in love with this area back in 2002 and eventually bought our first property here in 2006. We then spent 6 years totally renovating it. Olivier is next door and we couldn't resist the opportunity for another project when it arose.

Village properties that have, a) A fantastic view, b) private parking c) light filled rooms, and d) good outside space, are pretty rare, and with a southern aspect L'Olivier ticks all the boxes. We named the house L'Olivier because the village is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards and the courtyard is home to a lovely Luque olive tree of our very own.

As above a, b, c and d, plus having the choice of two outside eating areas as well as an interior dining space gives lots of options for shade, or full sun. Also Neffiès is a particularly friendly and international village and boasts 2 restaurants, a tapas bar, a take-away pizza counter, a boulangerie, a bio shop and a post-office. L'Olivier is 150 metres from the heart of this beautiful medieval village.
