St Maur Cottage is a beautiful Georgian house in the heart of Totnes; detached 4-bedroom (3 bathroom) house with stylish interiors and luxury facilities for the ultimate family or group holiday. Boasts a large enclosed, secluded sunny garden and parking for 2 cars (both rare finds in central Totnes). EV charger on property and free for guest use.

Totnes is immensely popular and is perfectly located between the best beaches of South Devon and the wilds of Dartmoor. Close to many tourist attractions such as Paignton Zoo, Woodlands, Torbay and Pennywell Farm.

The perfect family get away.

It can be so hard to find the right staycation destination when your catering for a family but this was perfect. The house was beautiful and full of thoughtful touches from the host! We were a short walk from shops, pubs, the river and we drove to the beach for a coastal walk and swim. I’m not usually one to review but I loved this place and will be back for sure!

Fantastic New Year break in a wonderful house with a great location

Just returned home from a wonderful New Years break in St Maur Cottage. The house was wonderfully presented (loved the Christmas tree), spotlessly clean and with everything we could of wished for. We stayed as a family of 5 and had my partners parents join us for a couple of days as well. There was ample room for everyone and the location was great. 5 minutes walk into town with great shops, restaurants, a large supermarket and welcoming pubs. Thanks to the hosts for all the little extras which really made a difference - chargers in bedrooms, fluffy towels, kitchen gadgets (grandad loved the coffee maker), cleaning essentials - dishwasher and washing tablets, bin bags etc, plentiful crockery, cooking spices, oils and more, pens and paper to play games with and a lovely hamper on arrival. Check in was simple and the hosts only a phone call/text away to answer any questions/provide advice. We stayed in the winter but would definitely return in the summer as lots of different activities to enjoy - the beach, ping pong table, cycling etc. We really didn't want to leave and would definitely recommend this property!

Wonderful stay in Totnes

The house is beautiful and very well equipped - the pictures on the VRBO site are a very accurate representation. It's location is very central, with the town centre, a large supermarket and train station all within easy walking distance. The car parking space at the property is pretty narrow, but we were able to park our average sized car easily enough after a little practice. The welcome hamper was unexpected and full of thoughtful goodies. Totnes itself if lovely - with lots of cafes and restaurants. Its also a great location to head out from and see more of Devon. We hope to visit again in the future.
