A short walk will take you into the small friendly town of Whaley Bridge where you’ll find food serving pubs, all dog friendly, cafés and restaurants. 5 minutes the other way is the famous Buxworth Basin . Fabulous time in a gorgeous location.

Fabulous time in a gorgeous location. The cottage is well equipped, beautifully clean; with great walks from the door or a short drive away. The detailed information is extremely helpful and made sure we discovered walks we may not otherwise have experienced. Thank you.

Could not have asked for a better host.

Could not have asked for a better host. was so lovely and informative, so welcoming and the accommodation was so well equipped, we even had a lovely welcome pack of bread, butter, milk, cream cakes & a bottle of wine, as well as tea, coffee etc. was absolutely beautiful. such a relaxing place to stay with a pub a 5 minute walk (hard going coming back up the hill though) Would definitely stay there again
