The House: This house has stunning sea views from the front, while the other side provides gorgeous views of Croagh Patrick. Located between Westport ( https://www.destinationwestport.com/) & Louisburgh, in the little village Lecanvey, this is a great location for discovering Mayo and down into Connemara. A short stroll from the house will begin you down to Lecanvey pier and a small hidden little beach – perfect for an early morning swim.
There are plenty of adventures to enjoy in this region. Take on the challenge of the mighty Croagh Patrick, try some Stand Up Paddle Boarding at Old Head beach or take to the waves with a surf at Carrowniskey beach with Surf Mayo. And after all that effort, why not stop for a quick drink in Stauntons Pub (https://stauntonspub.com/) which is just a 2 min walk from the house.
Looking to for a relaxing break away? Head to the beautiful market village of Louisburgh for stroll around – grab a book at Books at One & enjoy some great food at Tia. There is a lovely ambience in the great town of Westport full of interesting shops and numerous eateries. Head to Connemara down the stunning Doolough Valley and enjoy a boat trip on Killary Fjord. Or just sit back on the front lawn, enjoy the views and take a step back from it all!
Inside: This house has plenty of space for the whole family and lots of natural light. You walk in from the back to a great sized utility room with space for jackets & boots. From here you can head in large open plan kitchen, dining and living space. The country style kitchen has everything you could need to cook up a feast for the whole family. The dining area is flooded with natural light with double doors for that outdoor dining feeling. The large sitting area has comfy leather couches for you to enjoy a glass of wine in front of the open fire or to cosy up in front of the TV.
Also downstairs you will find another sitting room with TV and open fire & 2 bedrooms – a double & twin. There is a family bathroom with shower in the bath. Upstairs there is a large landing area with 2 large double bedrooms both en-suite.
