The property was adorable and super clean upon check-in. We loved the private parking and close proximity to the beach and nearby restaurants. I would recommend bringing your own beach chairs if you have a large group as they only had a couple on site.

-Great house - light and airy, lots of space for three couples, has everything you need for a stay of any length of time.-Great location - close to SO many shops, restaurants, grocery, etc., and, of course, close to the beach!-Designated parking so you don't have to search for a spot on the street.-Jessica was so easy to communicate with - she responded quickly to any questions I had, and was extremely accommodating! Great stay!

Great location walking distance from the beach, grocery store, and many restaurants. Very convenient parking - we have a large SUV and had no problem fitting in the enclosed driveway. We would definitely stay here again!

SD Beach House

Excellent property within walking distance to all you need to enjoy SD with family and friends. This beach house literally has everything you need to enjoy the beach. 5 min walk to the sand and pretty much everything else you would need. Perfect place to spend with family.

Charming House and Location

From waking up to the sound of seagulls to having family chats on the porch swing surrounded by rose bushes, the home truly added so much to our vacation. With my four teens we were able to make it a home base for exploring the beach, the bay, shopping, and restaurants all on foot. Thank you for sharing our house with us!

Location, location, location!

This is a great property close to the beach, the bay, groceries, restaurants, and shopping. Didn’t need to drive to get to these places, and your vehicle is secure with onsite parking! Plenty of room in the house to be comfortable for a 3 generation family vacation to eat, to play board games, and to sleep. We would love to return for a repeat vacation!

Wonderful home close to beach

The beach home was clean, stocked with everything we needed for a 5 day stay. The location is very walkable to beach, coffee shops, restaurants and a grocery store. The beach towels and toys made the stay perfect.

House was incredible/location noisy

Our house was absolutely wonderful. Small luxuries (super comfy bedding, nice linens, plenty of kitchen utensils, luxurious showers, etc) and plenty of helpful items to use in the home. Contact with our host was incredible, super fast and friendly. The location was really good, near the beach and lots of restaurants though we ended up driving into San Diego quite a bit, but that was a personal choice to see family and the city. Still a super fast drive. The only reason I’m rating slightly lower is the neighbors directly next door were extremely noisy all night. My 60 year old mom stayed in the room next to their house and didn’t get a wink of sleep because they were up very late and being very loud. There was also a very loud couple fighting for about an hour in the street the first night we were there. I know this isn’t the hosts fault as they truly were wonderful but it was a little frustrating to not be able to sleep due to the noise at all hours of the night.

Quintessential CA Vacation Spot

I brought my teenage daughter and 4 friends to San Diego on their first ever visit to California, after a school trip got canceled for them. This was the perfect spot to explore the area on foot, seemingly very safe neighborhood and well-located for everything we wanted to do. The host Jess was extremely kind an accommodating, communicative and available before and during our stay. The house is so cute and had everything we needed. The back yard and front stoop were favorite spots for the girls to hang out during downtime! We were traveling on a budget so almost every meal I cooked in the house kitchen and served at the big table family style. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a perfect relaxed beach experience in Pacific Beach!

Cute and convenient beach house

Cute and cozy 3 bedroom home that was perfectly sized for our family of 4. The beautiful and large backyard is an added bonus to the close proximity to both the beach and the bay. There are lots of food options nearby (including a grocery store) and you could easily spend time here without driving if you really wanted to just have a beach trip. Our kids loved playing with toys and games inside and in the backyard when we weren't exploring. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in San Diego!

Hello! My name is Jess and my mom, Sue, is the owner of this wonderful beachside cottage and has owned it since 2011. We have celebrated so many wonderful family holidays and long sunny weekends in it! We rent the front house out year around. My mom has six daughters and she knows the value of a wonderful vacation for a family in a spectacular location. We are originally from a small town called Verdi, NV nestled in the mountains between Lake Tahoe and Reno, Nevada. Since my mom is a grandma to 7 incredible grand babies so far, she spends much of her time up North visiting all of the little ones and resides in Reno, Nevada. This being said we are so happy to welcome you into this wonderful place and now give you a place to call home for your stay in gorgeous San Diego, California.

This property is not just a house to us, it is a home where so many memories have been made over the years. Originally we owned a time share on Ocean Front Walk and had been coming to San Diego for years. As time went by we realized how wonderful it would be to have a place with an enclosed backyard, room to breath, and a private driveway in the beautiful neighborhood that we are in now. The Braemar District, where the home is located, was previously owned by the Scripps family. A condition of the sale was to make the 4 block radius behind the Catamaran hotel remain as single family homes. Since then, our little neighborhood has lived up to that regulation and is loved by so many in Pacific Beach. We hope to keep this home in the family for generations to come, while providing a beautiful and affordable vacation location for small to large families of travelers like yourself!

Our home has so much natural light coming in through the many white shutters that surround the living room, and it makes it feel so spacious and beachy. The all whites and sliding windows give the room a crisp and clean look, functional and beautiful. Also, the wood floors make it easy to clean sand up if you bring it in from the beach!
