Nice hideaway

Great property. Parking was tricky. Checking in at night was tricky. Host very accommodating. Apartment/home was delightful. Stelida is a nice area.

Wonderful home

We had a wonderful stay in this property. It is very well located for discovering the beautiful island of Naxos - ca 15 mins from the port (by car) and 15mins walk from beautiful beaches. The property accommodated 6 of us very well - the pool was a bonus which we enjoyed (although there is quiet time in the block from 3-5.30pm every day). The owner was extremely helpful, very communicative and was able to assist us with various things including recommended restaurants, beaches, car hire, as well as things like getting more bedding/towels. Overall a great property, with a very good owner - would highly recommend.

Great location, just a 10-minute walk to the beach (though we drove most days and loved Agia Anna’s beach). The place was cozy and comfortable a bit smaller than it appeared in the photos, but in line with the listing description.We were a bit surprised by a few things: the water pressure was low, hot water wasn’t always consistent, and one day we were completely without water (showers, sinks, toilets) due to a town-wide issue. It also would’ve been nice to have a starter bottle of water since the tap water isn’t recommended for drinking. Parking at night could be a little tricky as well.That said, the host was very responsive and flexible with check-in and check-out, which we really appreciated. Overall, it met our needs for a comfortable stay in a convenient location.

I’m very glad to hear that you found the house cozy and comfortable, and that its location suited your needs during your stay. Regarding the water situation, you are absolutely right—unfortunately, the day without water was due to a sudden, town-wide pipeline issue that affected all citizens in the area, and not something within the property itself. Thankfully, the authorities resolved it, and such disruptions are quite rare. As for water pressure and hot water, I’ll be sure to double-check with my maintenance team to see how this can be further optimized for future guests. As for parking, it’s important to note that the villa is outside the city center, where parking can indeed be challenging at night. At the villa’s location, however, parking is generally easy and available, even during busy times. It was truly a pleasure hosting you, and I’m glad my flexibility and responsiveness helped make your stay smoother. I hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future! Warm regards,

Fabulous Villa Experience-Great Host

This property was absolutely perfect for our week in Naxos May 22-28, 2023. The Villa is charming, comfortable and very well equipped, It is a lovely walk to village; great shops, restaurants and beautiful sandy beach with lots of umbrellas and chairs. The host, Ricardo was always available to answer questions and assisted with ensuring details of our other reservations were seamless. I would highly recommend this property for any traveler who wants to experience a quaint village live. Chora is about a 10 minute car drive away when you want a more lively vibe. 5 Star all around.

An amazing getaway

We were so happy to stay in Ricardo’s villa while we visited the island of Naxos. The villa is a hidden gem, with lots of space for our family of 5 (kids 11, 13 and 15). The villa was very clean and quiet. It is located a short drive to the beach or you can easily walk in 15 minutes. Our kids enjoyed spending time in the pool and we all enjoyed sitting on the covered patio. Ricardo was an excellent host and checked in with us to ensure we got settled in well. Despite my efforts to ensure we didn’t leave any of our personal items behind, I somehow missed a couple items of clothing. Ricardo went above and beyond by shipping my items to me before I had even got off the ferry to my next destination. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Naxos.

Terrible Experience - book elsewhere!

This property is horrible, and the host is worse! - host sent someone to greet us and give orientation who did not speak a word of English, so was not able to share the basic required information - we had to negotiate to get more than one towel per person - The unit is 50% main floor, 50% basement (its only a quarter of what is shown in the picture) and NOT properly marked - The master bedroom is TINY with no space for luggage and virtually no space for clothing - IT backs onto a chicken coop (with piles of junk) with roosters crowing from 3 am on! This is the view from master bdrm, which is particularly problematic b/c the master is NOT air-conditioned, and you cannot sleep with window open due to roosters! - A/C broke down and was beeping loudly from 3 am on, and host was unreachable - no hot water without turning on breaker each time (it would have been nice to be told this during orientation) - host was unavailable during emergency and did not leave alternative emergency contact - shower doors have been removed (bathroom floors get soaked) - shower stalls have mildew or mold (disgusting) - bedroom had hairballs on floor - there is no microwave despite being in the listing - kitchen appliances were filthy - despite negotiating an early exit, host is refusing to issue a refund for time we did not stay here. We have reported him to VRBO for fraudulent activity. I am happy to share pictures

Magnifique propriété

Si vous rechercher une belle priorité, isolée des centres urbains, cette maison est idéale pour les vacances. Grandes pièces sur deux étages. Belle piscine. Superbe grande plage à 20 minutes de marche. Notre hôte était disponible et il’ s’est assuré que nous passions un beau séjour. On y retournerais sans hésitation.

Fantastic location, host, and house!
