Located in Chão de Ourique, 9 km from Penela and 11 km from Ansião, Quinta das Eiras, with several rustic-style houses, offers an outdoor pool, garden and free Wi-Fi.
This farmhouse with traditional and rustic decoration and architecture, provides its guests with views of the garden, a cozy seating area by the pool, television, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and a living room. Here you can enjoy total privacy and security, an ideal space for children and pets.
The accommodation also has a barbecue area and a terrace where you can enjoy family meals in peace. Guests can swim in the outdoor pool, enjoy the sauna and jacuzzi, go hiking or cycling and relax in the garden.
Quinta das Eiras is close to the Louçainha river beach, the Pedra Ferida Waterfall, Penela Castle and the Soprador de Carvalho caves. Rustic and original

We had a unique experience, I specifically choose this property for its rustic surrounding. The property is lovely, we travelled in April, and the orange and lemon trees were bearing fruit, we ate these and were amazing! The kids loved feeding the goats. The pool was too cold to use but the jacuzzi was great. The house being stone was cold, and hot water is limited but that’s part of the rustic life, we used the heaters. This is a perfect summer stay! The host was waiting for us at check-in and Veronique is very nice. It’s near Coimbra and you should visit it. Oh the bread man coming in the morning was a great experience and the bread was super!!!

A bit of lovely country life.

This restored farmhouse is great. Fruit trees and garden paths and even goats to feed. The pool was a bonus. Off the beaten path but we’ll worth the effort. The manager was lovely and helpful and I would recommend this property to everyone. One note the thresholds are low but even our 6’4” guest adapted. Great for a family or large group. Lots to entertain the youngsters.

Very nice and original Quinta

It was a very nice vacation for us. The Quinta is very well maintained and fully equipped. It is a good start point for a lot of locations and activities like swimming, hiking or sight seeing. But you need a car. The hosts are very frindly and helpful. So we get all necessary things for a first breakfest because we arrived on saturday afternoon. By the beautiful garden and the pool we spend some days in the Quinta - was is realy a dream. Thank you for this unforgetable vacation.

Old Portugese charm

We really enjoyed our stay at Quinta da Eiras. The old stone cottage has been nicely renovated, and the grounds and pool are beautiful. If we revisit this area of Portugal we will definitely stay here again.
