Double booked
We arrived to collect the keys from the keyholder at a different house to the advertised property to be told it had been double booked, even though I had booked it 12 months previously.
Whilst the keyholder was pleasant enough, she offered the group of 7 of us alternative accomodation a few hundred metres from the original. Saying that it was the alternative or she could have called and told us that we would have to cancel altogether after travelling from the UK!
As we had booked a minibus and tickets for the Rugby World Cup in Lille - cancelling was not really an option.
I cannot comment on the booked property - never saw it. The alternative was ok.
The double booking and lack of any communication to say as much is pretty bad. But as a group of rugby loving middle aged men, we were determined to have a lovely weekend in sunny Le Bizet, Armentiere, and Lille
