Very nice and comfortable

We stayed for 5 nights. The apartment is very nice, not very large but despite being 4 we did manage very well. It was clean and had everything needed for the stay. Nicely furnitured and decorated. Short walk to supermarket, parkinghouse and all kinds of nice restaurants. A bit out of center but we walked down town and took Uber back to the apartment.I would stay there again.

Appartement was in good condition with nice interior and looks the same like the pictures. AC is for the main room, not enough for the bedrooms, need to be known. Parking situation is terrible, but not in charge of the owner, but it need to be informed about that.

Nice place to stay in Lisbon

Very nice place to stay in Lisbon. Very well kept, quiet ant night and everything worked well. We did laundry which was nice.Communication was easy and it was easy to get in and out.Our only regret was the location was a bit far away from things so we had to use a cab to get back home often.

The apartment is nicely located- quiet street, public transportation close by, as well as loads shops and restaurants. Communication was prompt and helpful, and the apartment was clean and had all we needed for our 10 days in Lisbon. Thankyou !

Neither Chic nor Classy

The unit is not suitable if you’re staying for several days. The a/c unit wasn’t turned on when we arrived and it took over 48 hours to bring the temperature in the main room down to 25C or 77F. The a/c doesn’t reach the bedrooms (there are fans in the bedrooms), so those rooms were warmer.The circuit breaker would trip if the stove, oven and a/c were running at the same time (like if you were cooking a dinner).One extra roll of toilet paper was provided. The host said that is their policy, despite us staying for 9 nights.The appearance of the unit is not as nice as the photos. We were in Europe for 7 weeks and this was the least enjoyable property we stayed in.

A good option for a stay in Lisbon

Located in a good neighborhood of Lisbon near many excellent restaurants and parks. Apartment was very clean and proper. Only downside was that it was a bit noisy (street noise mainly), but we solved that problem by using the portable fan during the night and we slept great.

Great 3 nights in Lisbon

A fantastic stay in Lisbon. The apartment is well appointed and very clean. The check-in process was also very smooth and the manager promptly responded to all communications. While I understand there is good access to public transportation, frankly with the convenience and prevalence of Uber we never used the bus or metro system. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.

Lovely apt

This apartment is in a great neighborhood, Campo do Ourique, which is a bit apart from the very touristy neighborhoods but walking access to them. The apt is quiet and well set up -- perfect size for 2-3 people. In the neighborhood is the great Mercado de Ourique and there is a real genuine neighborhoody Portuguese restaurant right up the street along with lovely shops on Rua Silva Carvalho. Metro station Rato very close down the hill and Principe Real area 20 minute walk. We loved it!

Great neighborhood away from tourists but easy access to Old Lisbon via the 758 bus

Overall this is good apartment for 2 people and maybe one child. We like space so it was good for a couple. Kendall and Miguel were good communicators, check in and out was easy, they respond readily to texts via what’s app for issues. My only complaint would be that this is the first time I’ve stayed to a VROB where you have to provide your own toilet paper.(They provide do provide 2 small rolls for your first few nights) Kitchen was adequate but if you plan to cook your own meals you need to provide some staples like sugar and coffee. I also recommend that that the apartment might buy a small cutting board . Neighborhood has good restaurants, a few bakeries, a nice deli, and stores to buy food, staples. They have a washing machine but you have to bring laundry soap. I was prepared and brought some with us.

Enjoyed our stay at this place. The place is clean, spacious, bright and pretty much like the pictures. Location is convenient for walking to a lot of places but also close to Metro. Only complaint was that the floors are pretty creaky and noise from neighbors can at times be noisy. Check-in was accommodating. Communication was always quick. There is only one key so requires a bit of a coordination when you have a few people. Note that some essential basics like hand soap in bathroom and oil, salt and pepper in kitchen are not provided. Found all pans except one are not detected by the induction stove so could only use one pan.

Size matters

The apartment was smaller than expected , we felt that the information suggested two single beds, one double and one sofa bed this wasn’t the case. The beds were uncomfortable , we had literally one towel each for 5 nights and barely enough bedding. It would have been good to have air con in the bedrooms as the fans were noisy and kept us awake. Everything was kitted out ikea basics which was sometimes disappointing and uncomfortable. The location was good the intro to the accommodation was very basic.

Not Chic, Not Classy

The initial advert on VRBO for this property was in Canadian dollars- a daily rate and a total. However when it came time to pay the rent and fees were calculated in Euros. This resulted in a considerable bump up from the original quote in Canadian Dollars.I complained about this but the response was that this was the way the owners do it. (I later noticed that a warning about this appeared in the payment section. Whether this was result of my complaint, I do not know). Our friends who arrived a day before us had a some difficulty entering the property as use of the keys was not well explained. Took some time in communication to get this right. The apartment is very well located but was not clean. The photos belie the the experience. The rug was dirty and dust balls accumulated around the furniture. I had specifically asked if there were two single beds as advertised and was assured there were. However this was not the case. There was a single bed in one room and a couch that had bedclothes in a drawer under the cushions. There were no instructions about how to use the appliances and in the case of the induction stove we had to take the time to figure it out how to get it working for ourselves. We asked about this but got no reply. There was a paucity of knives, forks, kitchen tools etc. The overall impression was a company or corporate entity trying to keep costs down at the expense of customer satisfaction. VRBO goes down in our books as a result of this experience.

C’était très bien sauf le bruit dans l’immeuble qui est mal insonorisé ! Meubles tirés à l’étage . Porte qui claque fort . Sinon propre , bien agencé , bien situé . La deuxième chambre correspond plus pour des jeunes enfants .

Très bel appartement et bien situé, mais qui a besoin d’amour ( lits pas très confortables, toilette défectueuse, douche qui coule au plancher, seulement 3 verres à vin pour quatre personnes) Il serait sans doute facile pour les propriétaires de corriger cette situation. Nous avons quand même passé un agréable séjour.
