Super property
This holiday was to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our family and we all ( three generations) had a lovely break and overall it did not disappoint.. The house was very comfortable with a good supply of china and kitchen utensils. The location was idyllic and the gardens fabulous with plenty of space to play and enjoy.. The welcome tray was very generous and greatly appreciated.
The only slight problem was that the cleaning was not as good as it could have been.
The cooking tins in the right hand oven were all greasy and obviously had not been washed on changeover.
Items in the cutlery drawers had not been washed and had food stuck on them and we had to wash them before using.
There were cobwebs and thick dust behind the headboard in the downstairs double bedroom.
Bedroom drawers were dusty.
Cobwebs in the conservatory were not fresh. There were spiders egg sacks. So they had obviously been there some time.
The cleaning issues did not spoil our stay but I thought it necessary to mention them so they can be addressed for future visitors..
