Set between forest trails and local amenities, this cozy multi-level holiday home in Ballenstedt-Rieder blends relaxation and functionality—ideal for families, couples, or friend groups with pets in tow. The open-plan ground floor features a ceramic-equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee machine, and toaster, while the living/dining area boasts a satellite TV, fireplace, and dining space that leads out to a roofed terrace.

Downstairs in the basement, guests will find a second living room with seating, fireplace, and TV, plus a twin bedroom and modern bathroom with shower and paid sauna access for extra pampering. Upstairs, a spacious double bedroom (180 × 200 cm) adds privacy. Outside, enjoy a private garden, patio, sun loungers, BBQ area, bicycle storage, and easy parking. Family-friendly extras like a children’s bed and ironing board are also provided.

With the forest just 100 m away, a lake, restaurants, and general supplies within 2 km, and ski areas reachable in under 20 km, this warm, well-equipped stay offers both seasonal adventure and quiet comfort.
Expenses related to charging an electric or hybrid car (when possible) are always charged according to use and separately

We had a wonderful time in Rieder/Ballenstedt, Michael is an excellent host who took good care of us, The house is simply fantastic! Very clean, with new comfortable mattresses, beautifully furnished, and extremely cozy, The view of the valley is breathtaking, we had great sunsets and a dreamy view of the starry sky, The surroundings are perfect for hiking and cycling, An old railway line has been converted into a bike path just below the house, So the tourist tax is well invested, 👍🏻 The communication with the management company Belvilla could have been better, We arrived at different times with several people and a dog, and unfortunately, Belvilla could not coordinate that properly, despite email and phone calls, Fortunately, Michael sorted that out for us, We would love to come back!

Sehr sauberes gemütliches Haus

Ein tolles Haus ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Sehr gepflegt und sauber. Direkter Zugang zu schönen Wanderwegen und wirklich idyllisch gelegen. Netter Vermieter der alles gut erklärt. Einzig die Zufahrt ist etwas holprig.

Kuschelige warme Hütte mit Kachelofen.Wir kommen wieder!

Unser kleiner Urlaub im Harz mitten im Winter wurde durch die wunderschöne Unterkunft nur noch schöner. Nach einer langen verschneiten Wanderung konnte man sich am Kachelofen oder in der hauseigenen Sauna aufwärmen. Alles war schön sauber und sehr gemütlich. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Ein wirklich sehr gemütliches kleines Ferienhaus mit Sauna. Kann nur weiterempfohlen werden.

Zum Objekt selber muss man nicht viel sagen. In dieser idylischen Lage macht man gern Urlaub. Kleines Manko meinerseits, leider gibt es keine befestigte Straße zum Objekt. Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert.
