Could’ve been great, location and apartment facilities really good and as described. However, when we eventually found the key pick up location, I was informed that the was some construction “opposite” which would finish on 1st July, it didn’t. When we arrived the exterior of the whole apartment block was being renovated, not opposite. This caused noise and the patio was splattered with render. We spent three hours one day looking at plasterers on a hoist outside the veranda. There were no locks on the patio doors at both the rear and front of the property making it insecure as there was easy access from the scaffolding at the rear. Also we had workmen crossing the balcony fitting screens on the final two days. Owner promised to do something, but didn’t. No advance warning of works, we should have been given the opportunity to cancel. Official complaint lodged with booking agency,
