Enjoyable vacation at Díng Dông Lofts

Enjoyed my vacation at Díng Dông Lofts. Owners Jo & Fer were very responsive to all my requests and went out of their way to meet my needs. Apartment was kept clean at all times by Rosario. Apartment was stocked with all necessities for my vacation. All staff in the building went out of their way to make my vacation wonderful. Bicycles were available for use at all times. Less than 20 minutes walk to groceries, banks & some restaurants. Very wide sidewalks on Paseo de los Cocoteros made my daily walks enjoyable. Convenience store and pharmacy across the street. Bus stop to Puerto Vallarta is right in front of the building. 5 minutes walk to the beach in our reserved section. The sunsets on the rooftop were so relaxing at the end of the day. The pools and pool areas were kept clean at all times. The breeze from the sea is refreshing when it’s hot in the sun. Restaurant on the rooftop serves great meals. Views from the terrace in the apartment were super. I felt at home at this wonderful place and will come back again.

Close to the beach, cozy and comfortable. Good value.

Wifes review: Very nicely decorated condo but quite small. Advertised for four people but would be very tight as there is not a lot of closet/storage space. Also I found there to be way too many decorations in the small unit making it hard to put your stuff anywhere. Nicely appointed kitchen and appliances. However I was disappointed when the listing states king size bed in the bedroom when in fact it is only a double, very misleading. There is no mention of the fact that half the building is still under construction so it's quite messy and noisy during the day with the construction workers so it's hard to relax by the pool, also the gym and tennis courts are across the street in another building. The common areas have furniture but they're all wrapped in plastic as are the games room so not being used. The pool is not cleaned regularly so there is garbage and debris there in the morning. Husband's review: Like the wife mentioned, it's a small space, adequate for 2 people, but I would not recommend for 4 (maybe if you had 2 small kids). I too found it modern and clean with all the amenities. The host was very responsive, great English and willing to help. In fact, they went out of their way to assist and make sure we had everything we needed. What I didn't like was the double bed in the bedroom, when the listing states it has a king size bed, this was a big thing for me. The hotel is actively being built, about half the complex is completed. The elevators are used by construction workers and their tools + equipment, so there were times we had to take the stairs to the 4th floor. The common areas were open, but not yet ready for use (still shrink wrapped). The pool wasn't cleaned when we were there for 5 days, but it was heated which was a plus. I would recommend the hosts disclose that there is some active construction in the area and to change the listing to reflect is is a double bed (not a queen or king).
