Spacious family home with private out door heated pool

This is a very comfortable and well appointed 18th Century converted barn, with many of its original features. It is ideal for a family gathering, with plenty of space and amenities for young children. The garden features a terraced area to enjoy out door eating and private heated swimming pool, plus climbing frame, trampoline and swings. We are on the outskirts of historic Hawkhurst with local amenities including Waitrose, Tesco, a private cinema, restaurants and takeaways. There is easy access to Rye, the seaside at Cambersands, Tunbridge Wells, Hastings, and just 50 mins from Gatwick, and an hour on the train to London. The garden looks out onto the rolling Kent countryside with a choice of walks on the door step. Nearby, a delightful choice of National Trust properties to explore including: Scotney Castle, Sissinghurst, Bayham Abbey, Sheffield Park and Chartwell. In addition Bedgebury Pinetum and Bewl Water are within 10 minutes drive.

Lovely Relaxing Week

We were a family of 11 aged from 4 yrs up to 75 yrs. We had a lovely relaxing time - the house was a little ‘tired’ but still spectacular in its unusual and grand design. The house was well equipped with everything and anything you could possibly want. The swimming pool was a fabulous edition. Great location - walking distance to the village - a great base 😃

Family get together

Great for the kids, excellent playroom. Lovely views of the countryside. Short walk to the local pub and takeaways. Well equipped kitchen.
