What a delightful place for a year-round visit to Giovinazzo. In the summer you walk right out into the port and your own terrace, and in the winter the heating and hot water keep you cosy. Beautifully decorated, with great explanations in Italian and English so you can get comfortable right away. I will definitely return and highly recommended.

Fantastic property

A fantastic property with lots of character and everything we needed for our stay in Giovinazzo. Interesting information on the history of the property and Giovinazzo is a wonderful, unspoilt town. Mariam our host was great and providing breakfast and fresh fruit from her garden was an unexpected extra. We can’t wait to return.

Amazing!

Mariams place is incredible! Beautiful and very authentic. She is very communicative and helpful. Location is perfect! Vibrant area with restaurants and bars very close by. The city itself is 20 minutes drive to old town bari. There are tons of parking nearby. Also, this town alone offers plenty to do and very beautiful sea view and walking to this medieval town was breathtaking. Thank you Meriam! We absolutely loved our stay!

Great location in a wonderful historic town!

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) started our trip to Puglia with a stay In Maria’s wonderful place! We arrived on a Saturday night after driving from Rome. The apartment is just off a quaint square with views of the water. We settled in and went to a cute local restaurant. The next morning we got up and walked along the water, explored the church and the Sunday market. Maria was a wonderful host, easy to communicate with and left some treats for breakfast. She even found us free parking on a busy Saturday night.

Perfect location

A fabulous stay, great location just off the Piazza Porto , perfect court yard garden , very private and a great place for breakfast. Comfortable beds and the main bedroom is very roomy. Everything is there for a week away. There are plenty of places to see/eat and drink, you are literally right in the middle of everything. The apartment is old and full of interesting artefacts. It’s very quiet too with air conditioning in the lounge /kitchen area (which we were very grateful for!) A lovely stay for my sister and I, a great place to spend a week. The train station is a 10 minute walk and the airport is a 15 minute drive. Mariam is a lovely host, full of useful information on where to go and what to do, very helpful.

Wellsituated beautiful apartment

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It is nice, cosy and calm and has a lot of space. Decorated with love and respect for the character of the ancient building. Very close to the harbour and the old part of town with a lot of restaurants. 2 min. walk to bakery and 5 min. to supermarket. The apartment was very clean, and there was everything we needed. Check-in and check-out was perfect, Mariam is a very nice and helpful person, and good to explain everything we needed to know about how things work. Communication with her during our stay also was perfect. As we didn’t have a car, we managed transportation from/to Bari airport by taxi (30 €),

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben in der Unterkunft eine sehr angenehme Zeit verlebt. Das Apartment ist geschmackvoll und raffiniert eingerichtet. Von dort hatten wir viele Möglichkeiten, den Ort und die Umgebung zu erkunden. Alles bestens und sehr zu empfehlen.

Charming apartment in Giovinazzo.

Our stay at this location was perfect in every way. The apartment was comfortable, clean, very close to the marina and the sea wall. Also just steps from the main piazza. Mariam was very kind and communicated well. At the same it was a perfect location to explore other towns such as Trani, Poligano a Mare, Matera, Monopoli, Alberobello, Ostuni and others. We stayed here for a month and enjoyed every moment.
