Our stay at Couples Cottage was FABULOUS!.

We loved everything about our stay. The cottage was immaculately clean, all amenities and was an idylic and relaxing place to stay. We will certainly be booking again.I have and will continue to recommend this beautiful cottage and its amazing views to everyone.

Beautiful views across the valley

Beautiful couples cottage, private and quiet experience although less than 20 foot from the main house. Great fun watching the sheep and chickens being fed right next to the stream that runs right alongside the cottage. Great hot tub experiences whilst looking across the valley watching the trains pass by at the bottom of the fields. It was a wonderful experience, something we hope to do again.

An enjoyable time with family

The lodges were well presented, warm and comfortable. Great view across the valley and given the rain the flood plain attracted all sorts of wildlife including Canadian geese. Poor weather over Christmas having both lodges meant we were able to move easily between lodges as we prepared the Christmas feast. Many thanks to the owners for switching the accommodation to make our stay more comfortable. Overall a lovely Christmas weekend with our extended family. Thanks again

Beautiful accommodation with lovely views

Couples cottage was tidy when we arrived and had all of the basic amenities. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was nice although we didn't have hand soap and I think a few welcome things may have been missing in the kitchen, but I am sure if I brought this to the owners attention they would have put it right ASAP. We had a lovely stay and would return again and recommend to anyone staying in yorkshire.
