Absolutely peaceful and creative place in West Jutland. This old farmhouse combines the breathtaking sea, with creative indoor facilities inspired by artists and poets. A place for the whole family, workshops, holidays or mindful relaxation, sunsets, long walks, sea bathing, a good time with family, co-workers or friends. Near Klitmoller, Thorsminde and all the amazing sites along the coast.

It is an excellent area for both relaxation, adventure and activities. Eg. fishing, surfing, hang gliding, horseback riding, hiking and cycling (we are on the west coast route) and nature in general. In the summer sun and sea bathing on the beach, but pay attention that sea bath should only take place from the beach at Trans Ferieby 500 meters south from the house, due to the risk of undertow and rip currents between the groynes.
A large grocery store with a wide organic and specialty products can be found in Fjaltring 5 km south. The cake table on Sunday in the Lighthouse 1km from the house is legendary.
There is no public transport so private car or bike is to be prefered. The house is centrally located to many beautiful cycling routes (eg Vestkystruten), like a number of area attractions can be reached by car.
You will need a car to get around - Nearest town is Lemvig (app 15 km away) and here you will find everything - supermarkets, fishmarkets, butcher, lots of restaurants, cafes and shopping in general - especially during summer the city is bursting
In the small village of Fjaltring a couple of km from the house - there's a small community run grocery shop with lots of ecological groceries.

You will receive the numbers on a mail before or on arrival and our caretaker checks the numbers after your departure.
You will only pay the actual cost of your stay but please note that: electricity, water and heat are very expensive in Denmark, due to extra taxes on the co2 outlet.
The cost vary from 100kr-400 Dkr per day with both smaller and larger groups - some guests have paid more and less than this, because of the guest's different use of bathwater, heat and electricity. So if you want to keep your extra cost down do think about your carbon footprint.

The house is equipped with pillows, duvets and underlays (which we will ask you kindly to put on the beds, so they are fresh and nice for the next guests).
Note that in Denmark it is a costume to bring your own bedding etc.

Dogs are allowed, as long as they stay out of the furniture, and we charge an additional fee of 750 dkk for one dog and additional 250 pr extra pet - one time fee - for the extra cleaning involved. Billing via Airbnb solution centre.
The barn house is private and is not included in the rental - Its mainly used for soulful retreats by the owner - It can however be booked for yoga, mindfulness and other retreats - also on day basis - contact us for prices

The cats on the premises are not house cats, they are outdoor cats “our mousetraps”. They are under no circumstances to be fed or taken into the house! this will make them domesticated, if they do get in the house please leed them out at once.
The house is a former farmhouse - build in 1865 - and you are renting a very special styled house - its NOT a fancy modern house - it's artistic, cosy and homely and we do all we can to make it a great experience
Of course, we will see that the eventual bigger problem will be fixed as soon as at all possible. But you will have to be self-sufficient to some extent - We have no service for a light bulb switch or a gas bottle shift, and if mice etc.
We have made it easy to find the things needed in the utility room.
Again we must emphasis that It's a very special and old house and it can never be totally whitewashed and as clean as a newly built IKEA HOME, but we do our very best to make it inviting and as clean as at all possible at an old farm. All that said we hope you will have as great a time in our little house as a lot of guests have so far.
Smoking is allowed outside - in case you smoke use an ashtray and empty before leaving. Please do not throw cigarette buns on the property.
