Gatehouse North, Worstead Park

Gatehouse North is one of two historic properties framing the original entrance to the 300-acre Worstead Park, just a stone's throw from Lime Tree Avenue.

Sensitively renovated to provide modern-day luxuries, Gatehouse North offers characterful and cosy living accommodation, with an open-plan kitchen and dining room, a snug complete with a wood-burning stove, and a handy boot room. A separate utility room includes a washing machine and tumble dryer. The cottage sleeps 6 guests in an en-suite master bedroom, kingsize bedroom and twin bedroom, with a family bathroom, and is equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing stay. Living accommodation is on one floor making this the perfect place to accommodate families of all ages.

To one side is a sun-soaked patio with dining furniture and a gas BBQ. A games room provides entertainment for all ages with pool, air hockey and table tennis to enjoy. A secure lawn garden to the rear provides additional space for children and four-legged friends to enjoy.

A lovely stay
We had a lovely time at Gatehouse North. It was 4 of us staying there for a week. The house has everything you could want: a beautiful location, perfect for walks; a spacious hot tub to relax in; and a games room where we spent hours upon hours playing pool! The place was clean and immediately felt homely and familiar. Even though there is another rental property right next to Gatehouse North, there is fencing separating the two properties, so we always felt that our privacy was respected, and even though the family staying at the other place had children with them, we never noticed any noise. This location is perfect for people who are looking for some peace away from everything. The host was helpful and attentive and always responded to all our messages promptly. This is a wonderful place that we'd be glad to return to.

Fabulous short break
We loved our stay at the Gate House North. Beautifully appointed property for a family. Everything you need for a lovely break provided. Attention to detail and thoughtfulness made are stay wonderful. The games room and hot tub were welcomed by the teenagers. Surrounding countryside views were glorious and only at 15 minute ride to the beach. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a base to explore from.

A stunning cottage
Had the most amazing weekend with my husband, two teenagers and our dog. The Gatehouse North is stunning! Beautiful from the outside and as beautiful inside. Decorated and restored to perfection. Hot tub and games room an excellent touch too. We will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely stunning
Every thing you could possibly want in cottage, so rest full , you feel ready to move in .The whole cottage is decorated to a very high standard, and been kept to a very high standard. As this was, just a weekend break , we are seriously thing about a longer break.

Mini break
It was the perfect half term get away for our family. So comfortable and the games room and hot tub were extremely popular with the children and also very close to all our favourite beaches. Thoroughly recommend.
