Great but just know…
First time in Taormina with my dad and cousin. We had a lovely stay. Buy there we’re a couple of things to highlight that may deter you from booking. The check in process was rather chaotic. Very difficult to find without much detail. We Did not know where to park or where to go. We had to keep asking our hosts questions otherwise we wouldn’t have found anything. Very last minute information which made check in stressful. Also, I booked online with a credit card, but the hosts were specifically requesting cash when we arrived which was shocking. After some bothersome Back and forth discussion he finally understood that we just didn’t have enough euros to pay in cash and he hesitantly accepted the credit card as a form of payment. This is kind of crazy because it’s 2023 and credit cards are accepted everywhere! Other than that, the place was very nice and clean and just steps away from the main Corso in Taormina. Just make sure you’re crystal clear with the hosts about where to go AND payment BEFORE you get there.
