Quiet Lodge in secluded garden plot with panoramic view of surrounding Cycladic islands close to several outstanding beaches. A perfect place for inspiration with a breathtaking sun- and moon-rise.
The lodge is a self-contained part of a family house built by Christos and Rania, who have lived in Sifnos for over 20 years and who are always happy to share their knowledge of the island. Located on a terraced hill accessed by an unsurfaced road, the house is surrounded by olive and fig trees, vegetable gardens, wild plants and aromatic herbs. It is also close to a network of ancient footpaths - ideal for hikers and nature-lovers. Beautiful beaches are very close as well, for people who love the sea and sea activities. There is a bus stop 6 minutes walk down the hill, and the stunning beaches of Chrisopigi, Platys Yalos and Faros as well as the shops, restaurants and bars of Apollonia and Artemonas are 5 to 10 min drive away.
The lodge has its own private entrance and it is ideal for a couple - although it can sleep 3. It includes: Bedroom with two single beds (cocomat, eco-friendly natural fabrics), living room with sofa bed (cocomat), TV, wifi, dining table, fully-equiped kitchen and two outdoor patios with dining tables.
There are stunning sea views from the bedroom and the living room as well as from both the patios. The lodge is airconditioned & has its own private parking. No pets. No smoking inside the Lodge. No parties. 8€/ night, Climate Change Resilience Fee is included in the final price.

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour sur l’île de Sifnos. Le logement est un peu isolé, loin de la foule ce qui est vraiment très appréciable tout en étant à seulement quelques minutes du village Apolonia. Rania et Christos ont été des hôtes parfaits, aux petits soins. Je recommande vivement pour les personnes qui aiment les belles vues, le calme et la sérénité.

Comment dire, Sifnos n’a pas été un coup de foudre immédiat…Nous arrivions d’une semaine à Paros, le décalage fut grand… Et aujourd’hui c’est avec beaucoup de regret que nous quittons l’île. La maison fut idéale, confortable et pleine de charme, adossée à la colline et surpomblant la terre et la mer. Nous étions un peu comme seuls au monde… Mes débuts de journée sur l’une des terrasses face à la mer avec mon café et mon livre me manqueront. Et que dire de nos hôtes ! Rania et Christos furent adorables, plein d’attentions, prêts à toutes nos questions, tout en discrétion… une belle rencontre ! Quant à l’île, prenez son pouls et vivez à son rythme, de magnifiques petits villages, des points de vue à couper le souffle, de très bons restaurants… Merci encore à nos hôtes ! Si nous revenons à Sifnos, ce sera sans hésitation chez eux.

wonderful stay

Very warm welcome and very comfortable house. We stayed for two weeks in Ourania and Chri's house (they rent the first floor of the house and live in the second part). Chri was kind enough to come and collect our luggage at the port to facilitate our arrival at their home (we rented a scooter to get around the island). This also saved us from having to look for the house. What can we say about our hosts? Kindness and thoughtful touches throughout our stay. Our hosts did everything they could to ensure our arrival was smooth (everything we needed was at our disposal to start our stay peacefully).What can we say about the house? Very comfortable, exceptional bedding, quiet air conditioning that perfectly manages the temperature of the house; two terraces with magnificent views that allow us to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner, always in the shade. The location is perfect for those who like to enjoy peace and quiet. Good to know : access to the house is a dirt road so for those who are on a scooter you must be comfortable on two wheels. The house is 5 minutes by scooter from the magnificent site of the Monastery of Panagia Chrysopig, one of the most beautiful sites on the island and also one of the most beautiful spots for swimming. Leaving Sifnos, leaving the house and saying goodbye to Ourania and Chri was a heartbreaker but we will not hesitate to come back.

Nous avons passé de magnifiques vacances dans cette très belle île de Sifnos grâce à Rania et Christos qui sont des hôtes particulièrement accueillants, attentionnés et toujours près à donner des informations très utiles sur l'île. Le logement est idéalement situé et offre une vue à couper le souffle sur la mer Egée et les îles environnantes! Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette adresse et nous pensons déjà y revenir un jour! Merci Rania et Christos pour votre gentillesse, votre générosité qui ont rendu nos vacances exceptionnelles!

Un paradiso a Sifnos!

Immaginate la tranquillità, il panorama più bello sul mare e un cielo pieno di stelle. La casa di Rania e Christos è perfetta, la migliore in cui siamo stati in tanti anni di vacanze in Grecia. Spazi curatissimi, pulitissima e dotata di tutto il necessario. E poi ci sono Rania e Christos che ci hanno fatti sentire come a casa, ci hanno coccolati con tutto quello che offre la natura intorno: pomodori, capperi, marmellata di fichi, uva, basilico e le uova fresche delle loro galline. La domenica ci hanno fatto gustare anche la revithada, il piatto tipico a base di ceci di Sifnos. Grazie per i consigli sull'isola e sulle spiagge! Ci mancano già le nostre colazioni e le nostre cene guardando l'infinito blu del mare. Torneremo presto! Efharisto polì!

Perfect !

Rania and Christos are very welcoming and have been present and eager to help us throughout our stay. They also shared some local meal, fruits and veggies with us. Their apartment has all the necessary features and commodities. It also has a stunning view of the south of Sifnos. We had a wonderful time there and highly recommend their apartment. Peaceful stay in Sifnos

Rania e Christos sono stati fantastici: ci hanno accolto e seguito con molta cura e gentilezza. Il nostro soggiorno si è svolto in un contesto di pace e di natura, lontano dal turismo di fine luglio sull’isola. La casa è perfetta per due persone, non manca di nulla ed è caratterizzata da spazi ottimamente organizzati. È stato un dispiacere doverla lasciare! Rania and Christos were awesome hosts: they greeted us kindly and never lost a chance to care for us. We stayed in a peaceful and natural context, away from the late-July tourism on the island. The house is perfect for two people, doesn’t lack anything and has optimally organized spaces. It was a pity we had to leave!

Maison et emplacement top ! On a adoré !

La maison est super avec une très belle terrasse et une super vue. Proche du village et de jolies plages. Nous avons été si bien accueillis par Rania et Christos qui sont d une gentillesse rare. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir !

Imagine sitting under an olive tree on Sifnos taking in a stunning 180 degree view of the Aegean sea and three or more of the surrounding islands. Rania and Christos are the most gracious of hosts and welcomed us with fresh eggs from their hens, olives from their tree, and tomatoes, peppers and herbs from their garden. They were extremely helpful with all kinds of information about the island, which they have lived on for 20 years. Besides 2 different patios to enjoy the views, the accommodations were thoughtfully appointed, and provided plenty of room. The location was well situated for us. We had a rental car and took in several of the recommended hikes and other highlights of the island. We wouldn't think of staying at any other place on Sifnos.
