Well located, Near Oporto - Spacious, well maintained, friendly service

Five friends found this apartment in Praia da Barra an ideal location. The apartment was large and well maintained. The three bedrooms and the layout of the apartment allowed lots of space to gather and at the same time offered privacy. An evening stroll on the beach was just across the street and the nearby city of Aveiro(c.4-5km) was beautiful. It is deservedly spoken of as the Venice of Portugal. People were friendly on the street and throughout the community. The location proved ideal for touring Oporto, the Douro Valley and other areas of northern Portugal. Wonderful place for relaxation and for touring. I would go back anytime. Our contact persons were more than helpful, from our initial contact by email to meeting us as we arrived and helping during our stay.

Great location

We had a wonderful time despite the rain for the most part. The home was nice and had all you needed if you wanted to prepare meals. We chose to eat out and that was great because the apartment is close to so many restaurants and cafes and the food was unbelievable. YUM! There is a parking garage provided but I found it a bit tight to park and decided to park outside. I didn't find a problem finding parking although it was October and not as many people around. If you are traveling during the peak season, I suggest the garage. There was an issue with the elevator and when I called the host, she quickly had the repair person come and while we were out it was fixed. By the time we got back it was as if nothing was wrong. We had a wonderful time. Thank you.

Ruim en compleet appartement

Het appartement is zeer royaal en heeft veel extra's zoals een wasmachine, 2 fietsen, strandspullen voor kinderen, spelletjes en nog veel meer. Het ligt op een geweldige plek, uitzicht op de zee en op loopafstand van het strand, bakker, mini supermarkt en vele restaurants. Het in en uitchecken ging erg prettig, doordat we lang moesten wachten op onze huurauto, kwamen we later aan dan we hadden aangegeven, toch stond er iemand voor ons klaar om ons uitgebreid rond te leiden. Sehr schöne große Wohnung mit einem tollen Ausblick. Sehr gepflegt und geräumig.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Ein bisschen voll beladen mit Nippes und Deko, was nicht zwingend jedermanns Geschmack ist. Ansonsten eine wunderbare Aussicht von der gr. Dachterrasse aufs Meer und den Leuchtturm. Schön aufgeteilt und perfekt für Familien. Wir hatten eine schöne Woche bei perfektem Wetter in Barra. Vielen Dank an die Vermieterin, die uns zu sehr später Stunde noch die Tür geöffnet hat.

Superbes vacances à "Villa de Praia da Barra"

Nous avons pris le temps de faire des recherches sur internet pour passer 1 semaine de vacances à 5 personnes au Portugal, entre deux séjours en France. Nous habitons la Nouvelle-Calédonie à 20 000 km du Portugal. Nous n'avons pas été déçu. L'appartement correspond exactement aux photos. Tout est agencé pour permettre de passer de superbes vacances. Une très belle Deco sur le thème de la Mer. De belles chambres, un vaste salon et une immense terrasse avec vue. Internet est à disposition. Il faut rappeler que l'appartement se situe au dernier étage. L'accueil des propriétaires est très chaleureux. Nous avons en plus été accueilli avec une sympathique attention, avec entre autres une boîte "d'ovos molles" des pâtisseries typiques d'Aveiro. Les formalités administratives sont rapides et le rapport qualité / prix est exceptionnel. La propreté de l'appartement est irréprochable. Nous conseillons à 1000% cette location Villa de Praia da Barra. Située au bord de mer, avec ses magnifiques plages et son sable de qualité (l'eau n'est pas chaude pour ceux étant habitués à la température de l'eau du Pacifique Sud !). Les commerçants (boulangerie, minimarket, etc, sont en bas de l'immeuble. Il faut louer une voiture (un budget assez lourd pour lePortugal !!!!). Cela permet de visiter plus facilement les alentours dont Costa Nova (5mn), Aveiro (15mn), Porto (50mn), Coimbra (1h), etc. Attention, les limitations de vitesse et les règles de priorité sont assez aléatoires au Portugal !! Conclusion : Si vous cherchez "The Place to be" près d'Aveiro, foncez les yeux fermés pour cette location à Barra, franchement vous ne serez pas déçu !
