Worst Booking in 40 Years
This property should never have been let out. We were in the area for a larger family event and the whole week was overshadowed by the need to be dealing with the poor provision and the stress of unhelpful contact with the agency.No welcome pack No instructions so within a couple of hours we had to phone VRBO.There were damp marks on the ceiling. A bedroom door was broken and splintered. The garden was derelict. The kitchen had insufficient provision eg 3 forks and 5 mugs (for 6 people), no chopping boards, no coffee pot and lits more missing, not even a washing no brush. The small table only seated 4.We had to complain and soon found we were dealing with VRBO partners. Pillow Partners, and they were less than helpful. we got no practical help from them until day 4, We waited in for him the previous evening and only about 9.30 did he say he wasn't coming until the next morning, early. we waited in all morning . He rolled up about 11.45 with a some of the missing items.The manager at Pillow partners dealt with our complaint but never apologised for the inconveninece and stress.
