NO1 THE LODGE, with a garden in Bishop's Castle
Lodge 1 rests in Action, near Bishop's Castle, sleeping two in one bedroom.
The living areas in this single-storey lodge include an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dining seating, and a TV. The bedroom consists of a king-size with an en-suite bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed front patio with furniture, and a wrap-around lawn with fire pit and bench. You'll find both a shop and pub in 2.7 miles. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Lodge 1 is the perfect base for a romantic escape to Shropshire's countryside. Note: Although the lodge is a single-storey property, there are steps to its exterior. Note: The lodge is in a remote area, surrounded by woodlands. Please note: The property does have an electric car charging point.
Amenities: Air source eco heating with underfloor heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer. Smart TV, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Enclosed front patio with furniture, wrap-around lawn with fire pit and bench. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Off-road parking available. Shop and pub 2.7 miles. Note: Although the lodge is a single-storey property, there are steps to its exterior. Note: This hidden gem is in a remote area, surrounded by woodlands. Note: The lodge is on a working nursery with some associated equipment in view. Note: Please expect some wild bird noise
Region: A E Housman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.
Town: The South West Shropshire Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surround the charming market town of Bishop's Castle. The ancient town hosts a weekly market as well as a wide range of shops, pubs, and restaurants. The yearly Real Ale Festival, Tandem Triathlon, and frequent festivals and fairs, such as Party in the Park and the particularly renowned Michaelmas Fair, are all well-known. The town is in a fantastic location for walking and seeing the Welsh Marches, rural Shropshire, and North Herefordshire, as well as the fascinating and well-known cities of Montgomery, Ludlow, and Shrewsbury. Powys Castle, the Severn Valley Railway, and treks along Offa's Dyke and The Shropshire Way are just a few of the neighbouring attractions.
